The most I've payed for a phone has been 350 €. Alternatives to the current duopoly must exist and I am glad they are getting more recognition, but this would still be double of what I am willing to pay; like, I earn 1,151 € a month, so 700 is the better part of my salary.

I think the other way around: I read black letters on white paper when I read a book; why shouldn't it be the same on a screen? I find the black background more fatiguing for the eyes.

Yep, that's exactly what I care about and one of the reasons I ditched Ubuntu. I guess I'll look into OpenSUSE as a potential alternative if I feel like distro-hopping in the future (although I know even less of its relationship with SUSE).
Windows 12? Well, I'm using Debian 13. 13 is a bigger number than 12; therefore, Debian is better than Windows.
