Labor isn't really cheap. As a home owner, I can tell you that getting a plumber, electrician, sewer guy, appliance repair guy, roof repair guy, squirrel trapper guy, eavestrough guy, etc, etc. are all very expensive and it adds up. Plus property taxes, major stuff like roof replacement every 10 years, grass cutting, painting. But yes, it's also property values that go up - and that makes it more expensive to buy land because more people want to use that land. And as a result, the value of renting goes up. You could rent on the outskirts of town for much less; but you want to live in a nice spot just like everyone else. So how else do we proportions out the land except by attributing value to it and doing trades?
Yeah, sucks that Biden had to do that. But he clearly saw how trump was going to weaponise the doj. They were already reneging on the plea deal that Biden jr had made.
Yeah people watched it for the plot, not the gay porn just like people get Playboy for the articles. And I might add, gay porn with what sounds like the microphone must have been inches from the action.
Then you lose traffic updates. I use Wayze, and it suddenly switched and told me to take a turn and I followed it and neatly circumvented a jacknifed truck and probably a big delay.
There are likely benifits to social media for some kids in some cases. But the question is about overall health. Even their first example they talk about a person who has hard time making connections in real life so they need online contact. Yeah, it might seem that way but being forced to connect in real life is what makes it easier over time. Continually avoiding real life through social media is what makes it so unhealthy.
For those that don't read articles. The point here is that the energy in the liquid is not stored as heat. The sunlight directly changes the chemical nature of the liquid. Then it can be changed back later and this releases heat. So you don't need to contain it with insulation. And they've found a liquid to do this that the energy density is better than double that of Li-ion batteries.
There are still big hurdles like the inefficiency of sunlight usage as it only uses a small part of the spectrum. And acidification of the liquid which needs to be reversed to make the process continuous.
The point still stands. The 'gotcha' picture doesn't show he's touching the rock, his finger could be behind. And it's all fuzzy anyway. And more importantly, he got the official win regardless. Olympic athletes are always pushing the boundaries of the rules to get the edge - it's part of the tradition.
Space is finite, and time is likely finite too. So every posibilty isn't really a thing. And regardless a copy of you existing is not you.
