Is it just me or did anyone else became a more avid poster since joining lemmy?

  • Yeah there was no real contributions worthwhile on Reddit on main subs. I was in a few smaller subs that would chat daily but nothing big.

    • Piracy is not immoral (sometimes)

  • Between my server, NAS, fees, time spent and troubleshooting it costs me more to run my own setup than to subscribe to Netflix and Disney+.

    I prefer the convenience of having my own digital collection.

    • Lemmy resembles the old reddit experience so well that they even emulate the old reddit server performance

  • Even the servers are method acting

    • Why all of a sudden tech companies are not being favorable to their users?
