Computer update: figured out how daisy chaining works (wayyy easier than i thought) and got all the fans running but I don't think the way I have them running should work. I don't have them plugged into the rbg prongs but they're definitely working so idk

The tutorial i was following had it as a separate part

Got the motherboard installed and the fans on the cooling part work when I turn it on!

Can't figure out how to get the other 4 fans that are on the case to work but im gonna look un how to daisy chain fans and hope that makes it clearer

I think the actual building of my motherboard has gone well and I think installing it into the case went well too but the cables for the fans are messing with my head

Gonna take a break and eat something before I make a silly mistake

Currently building and got the motherboard assembled (hopefully correctly, there were a couple time i was worried I ruined a part but I don't know if that my anxiety or when I try turning it on ill find out I actually did

And I just realized I don't have an IO shield, I looked up the case I got (Montech XE wood) and it doesn't come with one. Should I stop building until i get one?

I did get that one and didn't fully unbox it...

Just found the paste in the small box that I thought contained the manual

I just checked the cooler (I thought it was only pre-applied to the processor, if at all) and it just has a sticker on the bottom and looks pretty shiny so I don't think so

Im hoping the graphics card comes earlier than expected so I can build as soon as possible

I have all the parts for my pc except the graphics card and thermal paste (I thought the paste was included)
