  • Personally, I'd send one more message asking to meet for a coffee date. Maybe frame it as a standing offer she can claim in the future if she doesn't have the capacity for it at the moment.

And then move on with your life and don't wait around expecting a reply.

It shows interest, lets her reply in her own time and if the interest is shared lets you become more than just another chain of messages on tinder.

Pro tip for the future: I always exchange cat/pet pics after switching off a dating app. My cat is cuter than me so might as well use that to my advantage! As a bonus I get more pet pics for my collection!

  • That's where I'm coming from too. Who cares that we're getting record rainfall this weekend. We planned to go canoe camping so we're loading the canoe on the car, putting our bathing suits on, buying the waterproof map from the park office and we're going canoe camping!!

  • But I had just spent days mentally preparing for the plans!! At least give me a weeks notice!

  • I just started with them too.

Easy to bring over all your playlist as they give you access to a music transfer service.

  • It has been cool to see how the two CN tower nodes interact with the network. Seems to have expanded range considerably but the channel usage has doubled since they went online so we will have to see how long it takes before Toronto can't be a Long_Fast city anymore.

  • I like that it lets me change the noise when I complete a task. I used the mario coin sfx and it made me smile every time.

  • DnD podcasts. The Naddpod short rests after each episode specifically. Keeps my brain focused enough to fall asleep and I don't miss any of the actual storylines!

  • Yesssss But just about any history subject works for me.

  • I like the LifeUp app but I tried a few times and never got it to stick.

  • Well not the whole thing. Maybe a third of the questions or something like that.

  • Got 4% on my first (and only) calc midterm. I statistically should have gotten a better grade by randomly picking multiple choice questions and leaving everything else blank... Sadly it didn't provide anything to the rest of my class and I had actually studied for it.

  • Lol And here's me using two year old petg that was stored in open air on a boat without issues.

Maybe I just print slowly enough for that to be ok.

  • And the telsat constellation won't require thousands of satellites in orbit like starlink and others that will clog up the sky and pollute the atmosphere as they burn up and get relaunched. Less than 150 sats for telsat if I remember correctly.

  • I put my oven on low when making pancakes to keep them warm until I finish a batch. I guess there's nothing stopping me from adding empty plates in there before serving.

  • But their boots barely last a single winter.

  • Whites got on first then bake most of the way before adding the yolks! That way your pizza has built in dip packets!!

  • Yes! And no gears to worry about when you need to punch through a snow bank.

  • Hmm, looks like it's still running the locked US codebase but they were allowed to install their own electronic addons to it.
