The reason this is as public as it is is because an archive like this is more useful the more is archived. If you manage it in an entirely hidden way, you basically won't get it accessible from the clearnet and are relegated to keep it on Tor or similar. And once you do that, a lot less people will use it and thus it'll be a lot less useful.
Also, they are not only fighting for an archive to exist, they're fighting for it being a societally acceptable thing to exist.

Basically you just get a job in some way. I became a programmer and thus earned enough money to afford an apartment by myself. And then I just did that.
Most western countries also have some kind of social safety net. Dunno about Australia. But most often they wouldn't force you to live with your parents if you lose your job.

There's something uniquely different to not live together with other people anymore. For everyone I've talked to, including myself, living alone for a while was an incredibly important experience, not replaceable by simply "doing things for yourself".
Only when there's no one around can you truly figure out what you would want yourself. As long as there's immediate interaction, just even being seen doing something, there's some kind of influence on our psyche by this interaction. There's just some large difference to when you're completely independent/alone for a while.
Being able to do stuff like you say is fine and makes sense and is good preparation, but it's just not in the same ballpark at all.

That doesn't work, you can't train models on another model's output without degrading the quality. At least not currently.

What's wrong with cksfv?

You're the one who brought up runit and insinuated it doesn't have this problem ¯(ツ)_/¯

I don't know runit. Maybe runit didn't even have a way to delay or customize shutdown, maybe it always just waits 5 seconds and then forcibly terminates a process, resulting in you never noticing when a cleanup job was too slow. Maybe you just randomly never installed a particular program with a slow shutdown job while using runit. There's a bunch of reasonable explanations and possibilities for why this difference exists, and they can all mean systemd is perfectly reasonable.

systemd moment in the sense that someone not affiliated with systemd used systemd to write a stop job that doesn't terminate quickly? Or that you willingly installed software that brought along a slow stop job with it?
This is like so far away from systemd's fault, idk, it must just be a meme right?

Damn, I can never remember how long to french kiss my bros either! Have been called gay so many times for it.

How about transitioning to a woman, then marrying their female best friend? I feel like that would at least be slightly less gay

It's because of women hating all men of course.

"I have things I need to do" - what things?
Yeap you'll need 15 years or so. I needed that long.

Dunno really, but I have the feeling there's something not quite right here...

What do you use to analyze journalctl?
Or any other log files/output? I'm open to any solution, but what I would like...
...is something where I can just click on a word or select some text and say "filter that out"
Something that colors different log levels differently, preferably automatically.
Something that can parse the "columns" and give me a nice quick list of values, like different unit names to filter out/solely include.
Something that lets me choose a time and go there. Something that lets me select only a specific timeframe of logs.
I know this can probably be done by going in/out of journalctl, recalling the last command and adding specific filter options... but it just feels slow. It's so many keypresses when I could just right click on the word and -> "Filter out/Search for" or something.

Is it okay to ask questions here with a limited understanding of Anarchism?
I don't really have the will or the time to read through long Wikipedia pages or even reading books or similar, which would obviously be a much better, more reliable, more neutral, but also more dry, choice to gain a good understanding of Anarchism.
I have some basic, specific questions that would probably be answered by doing the above, but since I'm not willing to do that (I know, I know), would it be fine for me to ask them in this community?
