  • Making a new swimsuit as the old one is getting too loose.

  • "Now with extra cancer!"

  • The "good businessman" part is especially baffling.

  • I used to do track racing years ago. You always knew who was about to buy a new track frame by the loud cracking noise their bottom bracket shell made as it broke away from the seat tube when they started a kilo (1000m time trial). It was always some sprinter with enormous quadriceps muscles.

  • These days, almost non existent. My libido plummeted after menopause. In a way I don't miss it, because it feels like my rational brain has got control of my body back. In my 20s I had a very strong sex drive and it was a major distraction. Used to "fall in love" with unsuitable men quite a lot.

  • That white one looks like a cone coffee filter.

  • Ideally you want to be out in a rural area, far from city lights.

  • Same in Saskatoon. We seem to miss all the good night sky experiences.

  • My best aurora experience took place in August, oddly enough. It was a warm night, so I went out on the deck and laid on the chaise lounge, my big cat of the time flopped out on my chest. The moon was about 3/4 full and for some reason a small prop plane was circling overhead (there's a flight school out at the airport, probably it was from there). Then I saw the ghostly curtain of an aurora to the north. Very poetic experience.

  • Best of luck to you.

  • Dry skin. It's as if my sebaceous glands just switched off after menopause.

  • A lot of die hard right wingers view life as a zero sum game. It's why they want to dismantle universal health care.

  • I sold the touring bike that I commuted to work on for 23 years when the frame started feeling really whippy, especially going uphill out of the saddle. Metal does fatigue over time, even steel.

Also, it was a mid-80s bike with a 6 speed freewheel and those were getting harder to find.

  • I find that reading about it is somewhat better than watching it. At least that way I don't have to hear his grating whiny voice.

  • That's a shame, but I can't honestly say it's a surprise.

  • Didn't someone do this with vampires a few years back? Pride And Prejudice And Vampires comes to mind.

  • This is only too true.
