Cessna 172 Panel mockup

This is just using a sheet of foam core board from the dollar store. It's almost done. I have the lower panel, parking brake and trim wheel still to work out. It's coming along

Latest Truck Simulator Rig updates

  • It's always a heated debate. My son has a quest 1 and 2 and he's always trying to convert me. I just dont think ill ever be really into it. Im sure it has its place just not with my setup atm.

  • I dont think ill ever be into VR. Im not a fan of the headsets. I dont like not being able to see outside of the game. I feel the same way about gaming with headphones though. I dont like being isolated from the real world.

DIY Truck Simulator Rig Tour and Update | American Truck Simulator & Euro Truck Simulator 2

  • I have found so far as long as I stick to vanilla things have been pretty good. I was able to throw in a few trailer and a couple trucks so far. The new UI has been really nice. I have been tinkering with the new graphics features which has been great.

  • Sure. It's just a button box I created for American truck simulator so that I can have things like a keyed ignition and various buttons to map for in game use. Utilizing a old Xbox 360 controller I was able to attach leads to the buttons pads and use the controller in place of a USB encoder. I run simhub with a custom dash from my phone and the lighting is for ambiance and function. My cab is kinda dark so there are times where having a light is very handy.
