What do want him to do? Redownload 100GB worth of mods at some point in the future in which he wants to play the game again?
I don't know about you but I'm keeping my 400GB modded FO4, even if I haven't touched the game in more than half a year. I rather spend 4 hours updating mods than spend 8 hours redownloading everything and spend another 8 hours debugging the crashes.

Who the hell only have 100GB of modded Skyrim? Even just my install of FO4 is at least 400GB.

Another social media claims it's the better than everything else while it's clearly not for the nth time. Why am I not surprised

Didn't they roll out Manifest V3 to counter ad blockers already? The hell happened to that?

Dammit, Firefox! You was the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the anti-privacy, not join them! You were to bring security to the internet, not leave it in neo-naZi's propaganda.

The image on the cover be like: No shit, Sherlock.

Lemmy users: Hate on everything that isn't Linux.

Man, I'd love to be an American right now, they have to choose between a senile old man and a convicted criminal to be their leader. It sounds like it came straight from a comedy skit.

I live with my mom and brother, I cook and they take turns washing the dishes.

one less idiot around, at least he offed himself instead of some different person

Bluetooth Support Service Startup Type keeps changing to Disabled and Bluetooth User Service keep stopping on their own randomly

I use Windows 10 22H2 on desktop with an Orico Bluetooth dongle. A few days ago I tested a Baseus Bluetooth dongle for my brother, ever since then, these services start having issues. I tried borrowing it back but the same thing still happens. I uninstalled both dongles drivers and reinstall only the Orico one but that didn't fix anything. I even tried changing the value in regedit to automatic but the services don't start on their own and stop after a while. Blue Support Service even straight up Disabled even though the value in regedit doesn't change Windows Troubleshoot says that it's fixed but it didn't do anything. I've tried updating Windows but I've getting error for months.
I even bought another dongle from a different brand and the problem still there. Is there a way to fix this? I have 2TB of data in the C drive and have no way to back it up so I don't want to reinstall Window.

It's not only that thw Switch is underpowered, it's poorly optimized, if you install windows on it and then run Yuzu, it will run better than the console itself.

Wait, so Car Wash mode has to be on while driving in the rain also?

They attempted to blocking videos for adblock users on YouTube some time ago, it was effective for like, I don't know, a few days?

Google lost the battle even in their own browser so now they're trying to save face by attacking third party apps, dumbass just don't know how to take the L.

They don't get it, RGB equals performance!

Good, don't sorry, bite more.

Give him a mustache and no one can tell the difference.

They bought a Tesla, what did you expect? They being able to think critically like a normal person?

Yes, everyone should be careful downloading files from a rando on the internet. But at the same time, most people just want to get the files and don't want or know how to deal with the source code. And everything is on archive.org but not everyone knows about it, and they probably don't want to wait for a new emulator when they know the old one works.
I'm not saying that you should trust me, you don't know me, I don't know you, so as you said, it's best to be careful anyway.
Btw, I've read that Yuzu collected telemetry, and now that Nintendo owns the site, it's best to set up a firewall and block Yuzu from accessing the internet so be safe.

Here is the latest stable build of Yuzu that I've got from 24 hours ago for anyone who wasn't able to download it in time.

What if a meteor hit us now? What happens after that?
Not one big enough to cause another great extinction, but small enough to just turn a whole small country and parts of neighboring ones into a huge crater. Will the people who was evacuated out after NASA stated a warning try to rebuild the country after everything has settled down or do they'd become citizens of another country?
Edit: after reading the comments, maybe turning a small country into a crater is too much, what about just level the place, or in any way that make it uninhabitable for a period of time?

Does overclocking negatively affect the GPU at in any way if it doesn't reach the thermal limit at all?
I overlock my Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB OC with MSI Afterburner, with Mem at +550, Core at +55, Voltage at 100%, temp limit at 90C and power limit at 124 (which are the highest possible for temp and power). I stress tested it with FurMark for over 30 minutes and the highest temp I've got is like 67-68C, on very rare occasions it reaches 69 (nice), I got a 70 once and never reach it again. I've read that overclocking reduces the GPU lifespan since it causes more stress and high temp. But mine is no where close to thermal limit so I wonder if overclocking is harmful to the card if the temp is below the thermal limit.

What happens if you turn on the PC without plugging the power cable for the GPU?
So I was changing the case fans, after I put everything back together, I forgot to plug in the power for the GPU. I turned the pc on and I saw the white LED on GPU power port lid up and heard the fan spins like crazy (I don't know if it was the CPU fan or the GPU fans), I panicked and immediately turned off the power supply.
Everything happened in less than 2 seconds, I've run some stress tests and gamed for a few hours and nothing bad happened (yet?) so I assumed everything is still fine (for now?).
What happens if I had left it on like that for longer? And why did the fan ram up like that?

What happens of you use the gas from the exhaust pipe to inflate a tire?

There is a magnetic top vent filter that comes with the case but it covers the top rear exhaust fan so I don't really want to put it on.
Yes, I know the pc is dirty, but I'm getting a new PSU after Christmas so I'll clean it then.

Will there be power issues if I plug an unpowered USB hub into a powered on or vice versa?
I have two Orico USB hubs, the powered one has four 3.0 ports, and the unpowered one has one 3.0 port and five 2.0 ports. If I plug the powered hub into the pc then chain the unpowered one into it, will the unpowered hub run into power issues if I plug high-power-consuming devices into it? And does it make any difference if I switch the hubs order?

How many USB hubs can you daisy-chain to a single port and what will happen if you connect too many?
Given that all of them are all powered hubs so power won't be the issue and you have enough space to put them. How much will it impact performance, latency or other things I don't know about? Or it will straight up kill the port if there are too many hubs?

What happens if flat Earthers go to space?
Will they finally accept that the Earth is round, or will they say that it's fake and the windows on the space stations are monitors?

Is it strange to use your off-hand more often than your dominant hand?
I'm right-handed but I mostly use my left for things like opening doors, picking up stuff, using phone, holding food... and my right hand for things that requires fined dexterity like writing, using utensils, using keys... My friends see me using my left-hand most of the time and kept asking me why I barely use my right hand. Some people who met for the first time actually thought that I'm left-handed for some reason.
Is it really that weird to not use your dominant hand as much? I'm sure I'm not born left-handed and trained to be right-handed when I was small, I've been right-handed for as long as I can remember.
