The Boiler Room provides power to certain rooms around the estate in Blue Prince.

The Boiler Room will send steam power through the steam ducts on the ceiling to any connecting room, as long as they also have steam ducts. However, you’ll need to figure out how to activate the steam power first, which will require you to turn a lot of valves and pipes. Solving the puzzle can be very tedious, but once solved, you’ll unlock a lot of useful mechanics.

Here’s how to activate the Boiler Room in Blue Prince.

The Laboratory in Blue Prince is home to two puzzles: the periodic table puzzle and the machine puzzle.

Both puzzles are intertwined with one another — you’ll need to solve the periodic table puzzle in order to adjust the electricity on the machine.

Below, in this Blue Prince guide, we’ll tell you how to solve both Laboratory puzzles, including how to get the period table code and how to power up the Laboratory machine.

How to solve the periodic table puzzle in the Laboratory

There are two things you’re looking for in the Laboratory to solve the first puzzle and get a hint for the second: the code (a blank periodic table with numbers) and a copy of the periodic table.

Navigating through the twists and turns of the Mount Holly estate to reach Room 46 is one of the main goals of Blue Prince.

In Blue Prince, you play as Simon, a 14-year old child who has inherited the will of his wealthy grandfather — under condition that you can find the elusive Room 46. Room 46 is a hidden and rumored room that can only be found at the northernmost end of the estate, but since the mansion’s floor plan changes every day, how are you supposed to reach such a room?

In this Blue Prince guide, we’ve given you a full walkthrough on how to reach Room 46. Take note that while we’ve taken steps to partition out segments, this guide still covers some spoilers on specific Blue Prince puzzles.

The Utility Closet is a blueprint room from Blue Prince that allows you to control the power to specific rooms, like the Garage, through its breaker box puzzle.

The breaker box has your usual switches to control power, but also includes six buttons labeled “V.A.C. indicators.” Pressing the buttons seems to do absolutely nothing, but, just given how things are in Blue Prince, they must do something, right?

To save you some time (and random button inputs), here’s how to solve the Utility Closet breaker box puzzle in Blue Prince and where to find hints on how to solve it.
