This is the long version of the rules. It's being shared here for transparency and disambiguation, but the short version (in the sidebar of the community) should be enough in most cases.

By principle this mod team (currently just me) treats users as reasonable until proved contrariwise. As such, most moderative actions will be gentle; talking is preferable over a banhammer.

Even then, the rules shall be enforced. They'll be interpreted by spirit, and in a per case basis. Furthermore the mod team reserves itself the right to remove content or users from this community if there are grounds to believe that, by doing so, the community will be overall better.

In case of conflict between these rules and ani.social's terms, policies or guidelines, the later takes precedence.
