This was no composition by a performing monkey! This was a music I’d never heard. Filled with such longing, such unfulfillable longing, it had me trembling. It seemed to me that I was hearing the very voice of God.”

You knew that this was coming. Sounds way over the top, but pretty much describes all these beautiful and magical music.

My favorite performance of this piece. I guess old age isn't an obstacle for a pianist. RIP, Mr. Horowitz. You'll always be in my heart.
