The rhetoric and goal of Hexbar are clear based on their announcement: to “dismantle western propaganda” and "demolish organizations such as NATO” shows that Hexbar has no intention of "respecting the rules of the community instance in which they are posting/commenting.” It’s to push their beliefs and ideology.
Lemmy.world wasn't on the original allowlist that people voted on, and I'm not sad that we're not federating with the off-brand vanilla-flavored redditors at .world.

Unless their mods are on some sort of anti-left kick I think we'll be fine with those smaller hobby communities. We're pretty chill in general I think (when not directly presented with fash-apologists) and even here most of the niche comms barely have much politics in them as is.
