Anybody else think it was particularly heinous how they gentrified reddit silver?

Like it was just some little bot someone made so people who couldn't afford/justify spending money on/didn't want to give reddit money for what was essentially just a super upvote could still give people a different kind of super upvote. And they (reddit) were just like. mmmmmmm another money source. feeeeed meeee useeers. feed me my coooiiiinnnsss doctor freeman. Sick of their shit glad I left.

I looked at reddit yesterday for the first time in ages and saw they rebranded as the heart of the internet now

Indeed, I loved Reddit silver exactly because it was such a nice alternative that actually came from the community. Then, Reddit killed it...
