Q: What has Alva been doing over the past ten years?
A: After assisting the Commander in carrying out operations in Frankfurt ten years ago, the Task Force DEFY, like the Commander, chose of their own free will to break away from the Statesec and withdraw from official affiliation. However, given the inherent risk posed by the team, the Statesec could not simply allow them to operate unchecked. As a result, the two sides reached an agreement under which the Task Force DEFY was granted freedom, but remained subject to surveillance and was required to cooperate on a regular basis.
With this restricted freedom, Alva and the other members of the DEFY began a life of wandering. At first, they had no clear objective. However, through their cooperation with the Statesec, they realized earlier than the Commander that Paradeus had not been eradicated. Consequently, they devoted themselves to the ongoing struggle against Paradeus—a fight that continues to this day.
Q: As the prototype of the Task Force DEFY, how does Alva view the third-gen prototypes of the Orlog Conglomerate?
A: Because of her own experiences, Alva feels a strong sense of sympathy toward experimental units and prototype machines. She believes that not every prototype is fortunate enough to find its own path or outcome. Commanders who have experienced the story of the [Deep Oblivion] event should be familiar with this perspective. When confronted with third-gen prototype Dolls, Alva holds the same belief and hopes to help them find complete release.
Q: Does Alva have any personal habits or interests?
A: Alva is fond of small, soft animals, especially cats. She often carries cat food or small treats with her and feeds any cats she encounters. Despite her usually impassive demeanor, she will unhesitatingly pick up cats and hold them close.
