CSIS experts analyze new satellite imagery of U.S. strikes against Venezuela carried out during the mission to capture Nicolás Maduro.

Current estimates report that approximately 75 people were killed during Operation Absolute Resolve, including Cuban special forces who served as bodyguards for Maduro. Two civilian deaths have also been identified, though CSIS satellite imagery analysis shows that the operation focused narrowly on military targets.
