Israel targeted displaced Palestinians in a tent encampment in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, designated for civilians. Eight children were burned alive and charred beyond recognition alongside six others.
It will take a concerted effort by every sector of our society to respond to Trumpism’s threat.
Time to quit your pointless job, become morally ambitious and change the world
Most working people can be put into one of three categories, from idealistic yet unambitious to greedy and immoral. But there is another option …
Harvard shows resistance is possible. But universities must join forces
Far too many academics are repeating propaganda about a ‘free speech crisis’. It’s time for a shared strategy
Harvard is refusing the plainly illegal demands by the Trump administration. That sends an important signal: resistance is possible.
But universities must realize that the government is adopting a divide-and-rule tactic: they should collaborate on a shared litigation strategy, take a common approach in getting the public on their side, and do everything possible to have Congress push back against Trump treating money allocated by the legislature as if it were a private slush fund to be used for political blackmail. Some faculty have already begun to unite. In principle, not just progressives, but self-respecting conservatives – if any remain – should be responsive to such a three-pronged strategy.
It has become abundantly clear that Trump 2.0 is using a moral panic about “woke” and pro-Palestinian protests as pretexts to subjugate institutions posing multiple threats to aspiring autocrats: universities constitute an independent source of information; they encourage critical thinking;
I Worked At Palantir: The Tech Company Reshaping Reality

A former Palantir employee is sounding the alarm. The tech company, founded by Peter Thiel, claims they can revolutionize government systems with their AI-powered software. They’ve been hired by the Department of Defense, the FBI, ICE, and even Wendy’s. Now DOGE will likely hire Palantir as well.
We talked to a former Palantir employee, dug into decades of research and listened to hours of Palantir CEO Alex Karp's own words to carefully unwrap the layers of Palantir’s carefully cultivated sales pitch — and how they capitalize on fear and unrest to make money.
China Now Faces 245% Trump Tariff
The White House said the higher tariff is as a result of Chinese retaliation.
The White House said China is now facing up to a 245 percent tariff on imports to the U.S. "as a result of its retaliatory actions," another escalation in a trade war between the world's two largest economies.
The top potential tariff is higher than the previously stated 145 percent and was referenced in a fact sheet published by the White House late on Tuesday.
It accompanied an executive order signed by President Donald Trump that launched an investigation into the "national security risks posed by U.S. reliance on imported processed critical minerals and their derivative products."
Desperate to crush popular and growing opposition to Israel’s genocide, the Trump regime is shredding our First Amendment rights.

"Desperate to crush popular and growing opposition to #Israel’s genocide, the #Trump regime is shredding our First Amendment rights.
But we’re not backing down. Shortly after Mohsen was arrested, over a thousand Jews and allies gathered for an emergency Passover seder outside ICE headquarters in NYC to demand his and other student activists’ release.
Our message is clear: “Come for one, face us all.”"
USA- Burkina Faso Relations Erupt: Captain Traorè Targeted
The U.S. has accused Burkina Faso's leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, of misusing gold reserves to maintain his regime and issued a Level 4 travel advisory citing security risks. These moves are seen as efforts to isolate the nation. Burkina Faso's government rejected the accusations, labeling them political and misleading, emphasizing Traoré's focus on transparency, anti-corruption efforts, and national self-reliance. Traoré, since 2022, has been regarded as a modest, reform-driven leader striving to reclaim resources for his people, contrasting Western claims of corruption. The situation underscores tensions between Burkina Faso’s sovereign ambitions and Western narratives.
James Carville says he might sue ‘contemptible little twerp’ David Hogg for challenging incumbent Democrats
NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo appeared to egg James Carville on, telling the veteran Democratic strategist to ‘sue his punk a**’
Hogg, a 25-year-old gun control activist, who was elected the DNC’s vice chair, has sparked an intra-party uproar over his announcement that his political group, Leaders We Deserve, would be spending $20 million to challenge “asleep-at-the-wheel” Democrats in deep-blue districts.
“We, as the DNC, need to be seen as a body that can be trusted, that’s not putting its thumb on the scales,” a DNC member told Politico. “We have to be so strategic and careful with our resources right now. ... So why are we in this circular firing squad against Democrats?”
Freeze followed a letter sent on Monday to the Trump administration saying it rejects the government’s demands
Harvard University has been hit with a $2.3bn federal funding freeze after the Ivy League institution took a stand against the Trump administration’s ongoing demands.
The freeze, representing 35.9 percent of Harvard's $6.4bn operating expenses, immediately followed a letter on Monday from Harvard University lawyers to the Trump administration, stating that it rejected the government’s demands.
The letter, issued by Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and LLP King & Spalding LLP, said that “The university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights.”
Harvard is the first university to take a stand against the government, which said it is investigating 60 universities over allegations of antisemitism. Several Ivy League schools have already had funding threatened or cancelled.

The U.S. airstrike on a Yemeni cancer hospital follows decades of deliberate attacks on medical centers from Vietnam to Raqqa to Kunduz.
The Yemeni Cancer Control Fund, a government body tasked with overseeing the country’s healthcare system, agreed, alleging that they were part of what it called:
A systematic American policy that has targeted the Yemeni people for years through bombings and a suffocating blockade, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and spreading deadly diseases, including cancer, which has surged due to the use of internationally banned weapons since 2015.”
The newly built Al Rasool Al-Azam Hospital was the centerpiece of the region’s healthcare network. Costing over $7.5 million.
The destruction of the Al Rasool Al-Azam Oncology Center was far from a unique occurrence. In fact, the attack carries on an extremely long and well-documented tradition of the United States targeting hospitals.
In 2015, the U.S. Air Force carried out a bombing campaign against a Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan. The trauma center, one of the newest, largest, and most r
