A community for everything related to Palestine and the occupation currently underway by the occupying force known as Israel.
Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Existence is resistance for Palestinians.
Please refer to Israel as Occupied Palestine, or occupied territories. The IDF is a fascist and ethnonationalist occupying force. Israelis are settlers. We understand however that the imperial narrative (which tries to legitimise Israel) is internalised in the imperial core and slip-ups are naturally expected.
We always take the sides of Palestine and Palestinians and are unapologetic about it. Israel is an occupying power whose "defence force"'s (note the contradiction) sole purpose for existing is to push Palestinians out so they can resettle their rightful land. If you have anything positive to say about Israel we do not care.
A Palestinian-Israeli collective made one of 2024’s most lauded docs. Will it be released in the US?

A Circle Of Certain Death: Don't Be Afraid, Stand Next To Me
Unimaginably, Israel's campaign of genocide and elimination escalates, with up to 800 Palestinians killed in 17 days "in full view of the world." Amidst relentless bombardment, displacement, starvation, trauma and shelling so incessant their "bodies don't stop trembling," Gazans recount apocalyptic...

With just days left until the elections, the Muslim and Arab American communities are at a historic crossroads. Though united in their anger over U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, voters are far from consensus on where to cast their ballots.

"Alex McDonald’s When They Speak Israel, reviewed here by Steve Grant, explains to all of us how to engage. His basic assumption is that while some Zionists are dyed-in-the-wool racists or ethnonationalists, most are not. They sincerely believe they oppose racism but have been taught that support for Israel is justified — if not a solemn moral duty."

Hello, I am Aya Muhammad from Gaza. The occupation destroyed my house in northern Gaza. I ask you to help me and my family to save our lives. Any donation from you is appreciated 🥹
Our home in northern Gaza was a safe haven for our entire family, a place where we gathered every day to share simple moments that gave us strength and hope. Its walls witnessed our laughter, our dreams, and our family gatherings that brought us peace.
But in a single moment, everything changed. The intense bombing left nothing as it was. The forces stormed our home, wreaked havoc in every corner, destroyed what they could, and left us with nothing but rubble and pain. Our memories were lost among the ruins, and we left our shattered home carrying a deep wound in our hearts. Today, we need your help and support to stand again and overcome this pain. https://gofund.me/1222af19 🙏
The attack is “clearly intended to hide your criminal complicity in an ongoing genocide,” one group said.

A Gazan family has almost reached its fundraiser goal. Would you like to spare a dollar?
Dear friends, my name is Mohamed Alshayyah from Gaza. I am 29 … Charlie Olivares needs your support for Support Mohamed’s family to reach safety outside Gaza
I lived the last 7 years of my life away from my family, friends so I could work and get a small sum of money that would help me get married and help my family in life. I was working as a sales representative in a company outside my country.
In fact, I was about to be married to my life partner and lover, Aya, who is 20 years old. [W]e were preparing for our beautiful marriage before the war broke out, exploding our hearts and dreams and ending my professional career.
The […] occupation prevented us from completing our ceremony, which we had dreamed of. We had drawn, planned, and dreamed, but all of this was soon destroyed, and our thoughts and plans instead became: how can we survive this nightmare that has befallen us?

You will help us flee to a safe place with your help (even by donating $5, $10, ...)
Thank for Leslie Marie. She will help us receive donations through her bank account in America, and then she will transfer them to us through my brother’s ban
