Review: Botanicula — 6/10 (decent)
Botanicula feels more like an interactive, animated short than a puzzle game. Thankfully, its art and music design are top notch.
Botanicula’s puzzles involve just clicking objects until a solution works out. There were very few moments when playing that made me genuinely think to solve a problem. When I did get stuck, it was usually because I didn’t realize an object could be clicked on.

Review: River City Girls — 7/10 (good)
River City Girls is a fun beat-em-up with questionable boss design.
As far as standard beat-em-up content goes, the game is great. Combat feels fluid, and the pixelated art style captures snappy movements surprisingly well. Some of the unlockable moves are also hilarious while still being fun to use.
Where River City Girls stumbles a bit is in its boss design. Boss difficulty and quality vary wildly.
For example, I beat the game’s final boss on my first try but spent over an hour on the third one. She in particular was really annoying as the fight hinged on getting a tiny needle to bounce back at her
