Bitwarden Android app
Is anyone else having insane amounts of trouble getting the bitwarden android app to autofill?
(it's explicitly selected at the default autofill app in androids settings, as well as specifically in apps where they have the options available)
It seems to be getting worse and worse; now ~80% of the time lately auto-fill absolutely REFUSES to popup AT ALL. (it was closer to 20% until recently)
Restart the app I'm using (doesn't matter which one, they are all affected), restart bitwarden, force stop everything, fully restart the device; it doesn't make a difference, bitwarden just refuses to pop up now, forcing me to copy passwords into my clipboard manually.

Hi everyone,
Due to recent Docker container limitations, we have migrated our images from Docker Hub to GitHub Container Registry.
If you are deploying using methods that do not utilize the bitwarden(.)sh or bitwarden(.)ps1 scripts, please take a moment to update your image references to the new GitHub Container Registry URLs.

Support for FIDO2 (WebAuthn) two-step login on macOS is added with release v2025.2.1. This means you will be able to use a security key (e.g. Yubikey) as a second factor to protect your login.
It is now supported on:
How long should a password be?
Ever wondered how long your passwords should be for strong security? Experts recommend a random mix of at least 14 to 16 characters for every unique password.
E-Mail codes
Randomly, some websites seem to have a lot of fun breaking password managers. One inconvenience is sites now often asking for user name and password separately.
Another inconvenience is sites that use six-digit emailed codes instead of passwords. Which is just massively inconvenient because not only do I need to have an email program at the computer I am at, I also need to switch back and forth and copy-paste stuff.
Is there any password manager that works with those? Is there a way to get these codes working with Bitwarden even?
Adding more security to Bitwarden user accounts
Bitwarden is bolstering user account security for logins from unrecognized devices. Learn more about what triggers the new verification process and who is affected.

Is it possible to sort vault by newest items added without having to export my vault?
I had signed up for a fediverse service (i think it was pixelfed) but i forgot the name of the server. I was hoping i could look at newest items instead of launching every item i do not immediately recognize.

You can download it from F-Droid or use the F-Droid release flavour when downloading from github, but IMO they should be removed from all releases

Hi Bitwarden community,
We understand that many of you want more control over the visibility of All Items. We’re working on adjustments to make this possible.
With this update, you’ll be able to control the visibility of the 'All Items' view. Here's a work-in-progress screenshot of this update. We are still refining the details but we hope to have something out in the very near future.
Clicking on All items All items hiddenYour feedback has been really helpful to our team, so please continue sharing your thoughts in the comments!
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
First off, thank you for sharing your honest feedback on the recent changes to the autofill experience in the Bitwarden browser extension.
We’ve been closely monitoring your comments and are actively working to address the concerns you’ve raised. While I don’t have a confirmed timeline for the updated changes just yet, I wanted to give you a preview of a setting we will be adding to the extension very soon.
Settings > Autofill > Click items to autofill
For those who prefer the classic autofill experience, where clicking anywhere on a vault item fills it directly, this setting will restore that functionality and remove the fill button.
For those of you wanting to preview this change you may do so from our PR. https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/pull/12557
