I admit to buying this one just because of its label. However, it was actually pretty tasty. I was happily surprised that a "triple" #IPA didn't turn out to be nasty. It went well with our chili.

This one was pretty good. Reminds me of one of my favorites, the Kellebier from Creemore Springs Brewery out of Ontario. Happy to have found a good domestic alternative.
A proper northern porter
My mom is from Northern England, so i have grown up with English beers and family trips to Northern England, including Yorkshire. Samuel Smith is a favorite brewery of mine, and this is my first time trying something other than the oatmeal stout. It's absolutely delicious, and the box i bought came with the pint glass in the picture.

It's a nice summer ale. I made sure to bring a four pack home.

Still thinking about this pizza.
I ate a lot of good stuff this weekend, but this pizza I had for lunch on Sunday really hit the spot. Right in the center of the pie they sprinkled some grated Parmesan and/or sea salt that provides a nice zing of flavor as soon as you put the tip of a slice in your mouth. It's the Simple Enquiry pizza from Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats in Rehoboth, Delaware.
Beer recommendation engine based on my tastes and preferences?
Hi beer lovers. I'm just finishing a trip in Belgium and Amsterdam. I tried a lot of beers during my stay. I took notes.
While I'm sure I can find some/most of the beers I've tasted back home in Canada, I was wondering if there is an app, or a website, that can recommend other beer based on my own tastes. Like, if I rate the beer I drink based on my tastes, the engine could recommend other beers of a cumuler kind and taste.
I've been searching such a tool for half an hour and I didn't find anything that resembles this.
All the beer apps I've found so far were to rate beer, and find local places where they sell your favourite beer. I want to discover new beers.
Any suggestions?

Yes, I know it says to drink from the can, but they gave me a glass. ¯(ツ)/¯
If you're looking for The Alchemist beer in #NewJersery, they're serving cans of Focal Banger and Heady Topper here at Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell.

Enjoyed some Delirium Tremens before the big game.
Is a little self promotion allowed? Just opened my brewery in Colorado and had a bonkers opening weekend!
I've been a craft beer nerd for nearly a decade, and I've been working on getting a place open with my friends since 2019. We finally opened this weekend, and it was an absolute blast! We all think the beer turned out great, and apparently so did everyone else. If you happen to be in the area and have a chance to drop by, mention this post and have a pint on me! Komes Raspberry Porter
I found this at my local Total Wine while browsing the shelves. Not much of a detailed review here but I thought it was really good! I was curious about the chili peppers but it's hardly noticeable at all.
EDIT: For some reason I am getting errors trying to attach the image so here's one from the web. https://res.cloudinary.com/tavour/image/upload/tyn4d8wohrqd02a4qlnu

Tried this tasty Belgian farmhouse ale and enjoyed it. According to the label, it's bottle conditioned, which is uncommon for commercial brews. Would drink again.
