Land back. Do drugs.

  • I made two before without following a plan, they definitely don't look this nice. I made this one as part of a sketch group where it was really easy to follow along. I recommend it!

  • Sounds like you agreed it was harsh. Did you message the mod about it?

  • White-presenting pansexual chick. Walking into a bar holding a girl's hand got some disgusting comments. I used to be aggro as hell, so I'd get up in their faces to demand free drinks for the creep tax. I haven't seen that problem in a while since moving to a more progressive city.

The other day a childhood friend and I talked about getting catcalled by men when we were like, 12-15, usually outside walking on hot summer days, wearing normal t-shirts and shorts. That was fucked up, but it happened so often we thought it was normal.

  • It's true but that was a bitchy way to put it. Reads more like looking for an argument than looking to inform. Banning was too harsh.

  • Your definition of "liberal" confuses me.

The comments broke the rule, the mod removed them. If you don't like the rules, why not make a new community? It takes like a minute to spin one up.

  • Where do you live that you need permission from a doctor to take herbal medicine? You can go pick some flowers and brew a tea any time you want. Every drug store in my country has a whole section of herbal remedies.

Besides, I've had two psychs support my use of ashawaghanda, omega-3s and psilocybin mushrooms. One even gave me recommendations on where to get the good shit. However, I stopped doing both when I found a new anti-depressant more consistently effective, where continuing using products that effect the same brain chemicals would have bad side effects.

No, they can't legally prescribe it, but they can advise me on it, just like they can't prescribe excercise but they still tell me about good places to hike.

Naturopaths, nutritionists and dieticians are a thing, too. GPs just don't have that specific training, though nutrition is becoming more integrated into medicine.

    edit: a typo

  • It will be ugly redneck engineering and I definitely will.

  • I'm using it for a bit of everything, mostly plying and spinning off balls from my drop spindle/chopsticks. I just found out what a lazy kate is, thank you. I have some wood and the right tools so I could make a sturdy one fairly easily.

  • I use fun coloured tape to turn them into beautiful box boxes that hold my other boxes.

  • That was delightful, thank you.

  • I'm less enthusiastic about someone who can't cite peer reviewed sources. Your arguments are anecdotal at best.

Astrophysics on a macro scale can only be predicted within a margin of error. Particle and light physics are less predictable. Source: Already posted them.

  • That's why my main account is here after trying five instances. Best instance by far.

  • This would be funnier if you had some stories or specifics. Fictional characters are difficult to care about when people can't relate to them. Right now it's just kinda low effort humor. Could be better.

  • I will! But it might be a while. I found it in a box when visiting my parents. Put it back in the box before I left.

  • I am so here for this.

  • It's easy to read emotion into something even if it's meant to be neutral. I try to remember that becaue I'm guilty of getting annoyed at text for no reason, too.

I made my communities when I saw rules on other major news coms that inadvertently excluded good journalism but allowed for bigger, less reputatable publications to be posted. I wanted to see more, different, international news and less corporate controlled media.

I don't want to make, but would follow a com dedicated to least biased news sources.

  • I always appreciate other opinions, I hope that came across. I'll always argue my own points of view as well. I was being earnest when I said I'd support you, but it did feel like we came to an impasse.

  • That's up to you, then, but choice in presentation has and will always be a part of journalism.

If you want to make a community dedicated to bare-bones investigative reports, I support you.

  • You haven't shown me any.
