    My first time solving without hints. I think I've got the hang of it. It's very confusing at first, I would get lost in the wording. But I figured out the tagging feature, and that helped immensely.

  • Per Gizmodo, not the best source, but whatever, the Tiktok in question was from a Russian propaganda account. The woman in the video took two, read that, two Tylenol. The account claims she's an associate professor at Columbia, but this is not verified as of yet. This is clearly just a brain rotted, worm ridden, old man's paranoia.

  • It's not that the Qatar will have their own "base", just that they can do training/exercises at a USAF base. They're building an area for them, on the USAF base. Now, I'm not saying I agree with this, but this is something that the USAF has done with other countries for a long time. A buddy of mine learned a bit of Dutch from his time on a USAF base, cause some Dutch military trained in his base. Most notably, there's Singaporean military on this same base that they're expanding for Qatar.

    At the end of the day, these decisions should not be made lightly. As the ramifications of such decisions, could be catastrophic to the american people. From the top of my head we have, Singapore, Germany, Netherlands, and the UK training on US soil. These are countries that I would classify as, chill folks. Qatar is not one of those. I view it as a security risk, that could result in the death of many people. Call your reps and sens, this is your taxpayer money at work.

  • I was intrigued to find out that the research had been done years ago, unless my reading comprehension skills are awful. I wonder if this is the precursor to a lot of the carbon capture technology we have today. Or, if the technology hasn't been scaled yet.

  • I started self-hosting! I got Nextcloud and Grocy set up! Jellyfin too, but I got some small issues to work out. Next up is, a workout application and home assistant. I'll be transferring all my cams and stuff to HA. My whole family uses Signal, which is pretty cool. And I'm about to take the Graphene plunge, but I haven't ROM hacked in years. I hear it's super easy with Graphene, though.

  • As a parent, I should not have read this. I'm fucking sick to my stomach. I shudder at the complete lack of empathy and sympathy for these children and their families in the US. The American government can look at this and feel proud we supplied Israel with the munitions to kill so many children, senselessly. Callously. Hatefully. Fuck all wars. Fuck all death. Fuck anybody who doesn't feel the same way. Violence begets violence, begets violence, begets violence. We, the human race, are an ouroboros of death. We will continue to eat ourselves, until there is nothing left. All the people in power want, is to be the one ruling over the gilded ruins. This iniquity has to stop, before we all lose. But it won't. People will continue to die, for rulers who have no skin in the game. I wish rulers would have to fight the frontlines, in the wars they wage. But even then, it wouldn't help. Of that, I am certain. Because the one constant about the human race, is the unquenchable thirst for land and blood.

  • Edisto Island is a, relatively, secluded part of SC. It's the only part where beach front isn't astronomical. So, it's actually relatively expensive for the area. Edisto Island is pretty sparse, as far as beach/island areas go. It's not really comparable to anywhere else in SC. Even Cherry Grove lol

  • Agreed! I'm working on converting my wife and the rest of my family to Linux. I got a nextcloud server set up, alongside Grocy, Jellyfin, and a few others. So far, it's made our lives better! It works better than our Google calendar. Everyone has their own accounts and things are rarely breaking. It's so nice.

  • I always wondered, what would happen if reporters in the White House start making outlandish claims. E.g. what you said and stuff like, can you verify that JD Vance doesn't fuck couches? Or, is it true that Miller masturbates to Nazi memorabilia? That just seems like the kind of thing that they wouldn't be able to stand. So, why not just go for it at this point?
