  • He doesn't want turbines because oil companies paid him $75 million to promote their interests.

  • Probably influenced by the enormous amount of money oil barons spent on him, of which they almost certainly did with an expectation of return on investment.

His desire to "Drill baby drill!" and relax restrictions on oil drilling—including drilling into a wilderness reserve previously uninterrupted by man—and his apparent distaste for EVs and green energy, makes it pretty obvious whose hand has firmly lodged itself right up his arsehole.

The man needs oil to sell to please his owners, and belligerently trying to force the EU to increase their purchases is just another one of his hare-brained schemes.

  • I really don't understand why money is so much more important to these people than not fucking over the environment.

But I guess you don't get stinking rich by thinking about anything other than money. The concept of a wider world must really be foreign to these cunts.

Maybe a few more assassins are in order.

  • Probably if they're following the person/group and interacting with them in some way. The article specifically mentions upskirting, which requires obvious motion. Cameras following you despite moving away also makes it pretty obvious. If you're in a state of partial nudity for whatever reason your drunk brain has decided, and somebody is persistently filming you, you have every right to feel concerned about it.

If some dude is talking to himself and live blogging it's probably not as suspicious, unless he specifically starts mentioning the women in his recording.

Either way, reviewing the footage will clear or condemn them. I'm personally on the side of better safe than sorry since they've mentioned this behaviour has led to further harassment.

  • My cat hated Elizabethan collars and got stuck in places with them frequently, but after switching to a donut collar he became a lot more comfortable.

  • Don't know what happened to "love thy neighbour"/The Golden Rule, but some Christians sure are struggling with that part of the Bible.

  • I usually just breathe in as much as I can and hold my breath until I need another gasp of air. It usually goes away after two or three times.

Lying on your back and pressing your knees to your chest is another way to get them to stop that works for me.

  • I mean medical intervention is a common way to try mitigate mental health issues. For many people it can never truly go away, but the effects can be lessened. Similarly, there are avenues to help with obesity, whether it be the psychological or physiological aspect.

  • I recycle everything so personally don't have much need for the tether, but it's probably better overall and I imagine most people will just get used to it, honestly.

It is a bit annoying having to make sure my nose doesn't get bonked when I drink, though.
