Hey!I’m new to piefed. I was a part of the Reddit migration originally. Since then, I really enjoyed the conversations.

I’m a behavior therapist by day. Otherwise a bit of an introvert/gamer. I’m always up for a conversation. Unless I’m asleep, which is earlier and earlier these days.

  • The craziness of women's clothing sizes

  • They have started to, kind of. Some brands of jeans I buy have inches on the size. Saying that, there is still variation even within brand. Jeans may be a size 4 and a 26 inch waist but I’ve also seen a size 6 as a 29. On top of that, if you know your measurements and you try these on they all fit differently which is confusing. Understandably there is some variation, but I mean by entire inches on supposed same sized pants. I don’t want to wear a 28 inch when I buy a size 4, but sometimes that’s how they feel. So trying everything on is still obligatory.

  • You are both correct, if it was just the adults I might be able to handle it. But I deal with DD and how I look and present being very routine is important. And I want to lop off about 2ft.

  • It sucks. I’m in the same boat. I really want to have time, but my group time moved from weekends to mid week and that is literally impossible for me. And it’s hard to get motivated to look for an entire different group when you’ve been with one for a really long time.

  • Well bread is like 5 dollars, cereal is 8, milk 5, veggies are shit quality, on top of everything being smaller. And that’s just food. Quality of goods is nosediving, prices are going up. It’s obvious to even total goofballs.

  • Break up with idiot boyfriend, follow the boring rules to live with my dad, and go to college. Do the research and earn the title I don’t have time for in this life. Avoid marriage. Make lots of friends and center kindness and joy sooner rather than holding bitter stuff in for decades.

  • I frequently make this error of thinking people who are highly accomplished through perseverance have a good moral compass. It is truly a bad habit. Academia has also let me down.

  • He’s so fragile he can’t stand the idea of someone not laughing at his jokes. Women have been educated forever to laugh at unfunny jokes to be pleasant. It’s no wonder he can’t understand it. This idiotic world view has most likely been reinforced strongly in the immediate environment, and having thoughts contrary to that are probably painful for him…thus, this childlike tantrum.
