Have you ever considered not spending time on social media? Especially the types where randos can send you stuff? Ive tried to limit my kids on this as much as possible. They obviously would prefer I don't but I feel like it's the right thing to do.
Not to mention that just leaving tennis balls out in the wild for wildlife means all that rubber and plastic and glue and whatnot leeching into the soil and environs.
Yeah they've played their hand. I will never buy from them again, even if they do somehow repent (which is exceedingly unlikely). Once a company gets to a point to where they start monitizing things with no value, they will never turn back.
The irony is as they bid up the price of all the hardware, they are probably making their AI platforms more likely to fail due to being more expensive than their value.
I'm glad they are taking steps to make the platform more accessible. Especially starter packs are important. This will make a difference if people can be convinced to give it another try.
