  • FreeCAD isn't terrible if you haven't already learned F360

    I had to watch a bunch of videos on FreeCAD to sorta unlearn the work flow of F360 stuff but its not bad.

    And I got one in December. Insurance covered it. No questions.

    Vasectomies aren't reversible either apparently. They took a chunk of tube out of each ball and all I had to say was "Yes I'm sure. No no one is compelling me"

  • I argue that both are selfish decisions, but having a kid eventually drags someone else into that didn't consent.

    I wrote a blog post about it after I got a vasectomy. I'm not an anti-natalist but I think its a point to consider.

  • My boss is from a small town and, for religious reasons, doesn't swear and is deeply uncomfortable with it.

    But we asked one day if there's a swear he does use he said

    "I hate to admit it, but faggot rolls off my tongue too easily."

    Its the closest he's ever come to swearing.

  • Personally, I view it as propaganda still, but I don't view propaganda as bad inherently.

    Propaganda to me is just an organized effort to persuade a larger audience of people politically. Its only bad if the aims are harmful unjustly.

    So people organizing a take over to reiterate "No fucking Nazis!" Is a propaganda campaign, but its based.

    Gods not a terrible investment but it doesn't have a short term ROI just a REALLY long term one.

    I hate Bitcoin but its probably a better investment (and just as useful) than gold.

    I'm a fudd though and ONLY buy stable stocks that yield reliable dividends though. ETFs, S&P stuff.
