Without any context (no idea what this community is), my brain says this line is interpreted as a list item by a markdown parser, amd the left margin for list item rendering is wrong (too low, or negative). Maybe whoever wrote it tested with single-digit list items only?
I have no experience with lettuce, but I guess ~12h of light a day would suffice, definitely not 24.

Integers are just integers in ruby, with no structure backing them. They behave like objects, but only in some respects. You can call methods on them, but you can't extend individual numbers with properties for example (which would require them to have structure).
