I do call center work in a health care environment. We get lots of scams. Most of them are bad and obvious but someone recently did the math and figured out the don’t need to be good to work.
Follow me for a moment.
Call comes in. It’s a recording. You know this recording. It’s a busy office environment. Paper rustling, typing, annoyed sigh exactly the same number of seconds in every call.
There is no response to your voice. But you have to say the same thing 3 times with no response before you can disconnect the call. So the recoding loops and you continue talking to the bot.
Why?
Well on my side, I know it’s dumb but I have to do it because metrics mean I can continue to almost afford to do things like eat food or masturbate in a warm house in the winter.
They do it because this bot lets them map out our IVR (whatever, it sucks now that it’s AI) and capture voice samples from people who are forbidden to hang up.
Now in years past this wouldn’t be all that useful. The samples are of reps saying basically the same damn thing. But we now live in the era of lifeless AI. So the bar has been lowered for what a legit interaction is. (Seriously, some places paid extra for a more “lifelike” AI that did everything the old EVA bot did but in an Indian accent with the sound of crumpling paper in the background and the occasional “um” thrown in.)
So those voice samples can be used to create a fake call center based on real employee voices. This is a known attack vector that is being used against us in health care right NOW.
But AI needs to profitable so nothing is done about it.
Seriously, they protect AI to such a ridiculous extent they know the scam is happening from the same phone number and they won’t block it or even issue it a challenge.
So are we talking using Hawking as a child-juicer kind of situation?
Follow the thought just a little bit farther. It’s ridiculous. You are pointing toward a more actionable definition of this. It’s not “a thought occurred” but “a child had sex inflicted upon them”
So if you asking if is it possible to insert a Stephen Hawking into a child I will admit that grim situation is possible.
But what it would take to pull such a thing off…it’s like if you explained Schrodinger’s cat to someone whose intellectual development stopped at watching Care Bears.
There are about 1.3 million attorneys in the United States in 2026. Find a cross section between that and “consequences? Fuck it” and that’s your group.
There’s likely plenty of people who will happily make good trouble fighting Amazon.
Also, people know people. I myself have a friend of a friend with incredibly powerful legal weight that wants to take a swing at my employer. They are waiting for them to cross a line and then I just need to agree to let them go nuts.
That situation is NOT rare. And powerful people know this. So they paint this picture of them being indestructible. But it’s a lie.
What happens if Amazon just stops existing one day?
Literally nothing. They are buried into all e-commerce like a fucking tick. They pretty much own the cloud, even if Google and Microsoft tell you otherwise. But everything they’ve done is already done. The blueprint is out there. The rough edges sanded down. There are no questions, which means recreating such a thing is much less risky and expensive now than it used to be.
Not as long as you think. We’re really close to a recession the likes of which multiple generations have never seen. Most people can just barely get by on what they’re making, the promise of put the work in and life will reward you has been disproven time and time again.
And if he fucks up tax returns bad enough, it could be as close as a month or two away. We’re honestly at the point where we should be taking bets on whether a blood clot or an angry mob takes this fucker out first.
Zuckerberg is building a bunker. Seriously, underneath his house. 24 seven work is going on unless he’s pissed off all his fucking neighbors on this. You’d think he’d wanna create a virtual world. He could escape into every now and then and that good kind of explain why you pushed so much on this, but not why he’s backing off now all the world‘s collapsing around them.
I do not understand what the fuck he’s trying to do with Facebook. It’s full of old people and bots. You spend the money on bots, and the old people are going to die eventually. So what the fuck is he going for?
The problem with that argument is that people who have done that aren’t here to argue with you. You are stuck with those of us who haven’t been imprisoned shot and killed yet.
Your gatekeeping basically means nobody can be taken seriously until they are no longer capable of making their argument.
As amusing as this slap fight is to watch, there’s an important point I think needs to be made.
The use of the word “pedophile” has multiple interpretations. (Yes I’m going to be that guy but follow me for a minute. I promise this is going somewhere.) For sake of argument, let’s look at the two most common uses: “is sexually attracted to children” and “fucks children”. I’m using fucks because that’s what that interpretation calls for. Consent is irrelevant, whether you think a child can give it or not. In the latter case we are discussing the physical act.
In the case of sexual attraction, I would imagine there are far more people in that crowd than most people realize. Don’t give me the studies and stats. I already have enough reasons to want to kill myself in 2026. I don’t want to know. Just acknowledge there is a number, we don’t have to like it. However, that’s not actionable by itself. It’s awful but it’s not relevant to anything. In the case of “Stephen hawking can be a pedophile without the ability to move his hips” this is correct. It is also entirely irrelevant because you know goddamn well what we are actually talking about.
Which brings me to the second interpretation, fucks children. In this use, the pedophile does a thing to a child. Not just fantasizes about it but actually does the thing. It’s cut and dry. THIS is what we are pissed about. When you see public outcry about pedophile stuff, it’s not about the pedantic argument of “well technically that’s not pedophilia.” Language is contextual. You know goddamn well that while most of us aren’t exactly thrilled about someone feeling arousal toward children, the thought itself is irrelevant. The action is.
A thought doesn’t harm children. It’s creeps us out and can serve as a warning sign of “you know, let’s not have Elon babysit. He’s either going to fuck it or eat it.”
What my post asked was what Stephen Hawking was accused of doing in the Epstein files. He’s not able to move his hips or legs of really any of his body in any weaponized capacity so I’m really wondering what the fuck his presence in the files is supposed to imply.
So please ignore the charged label and pay attention to the actual question:
What are people saying Stephen Hawking did on Epstein island?
My father actually ran a few when I was little years later we found a box of promotion razor blades in the garage with the circuit city logo on them, along with an apropos tagline “like nowhere else.”
