  • Exactly. But it wouldn’t matter and would hurt them in two ways. First, during transition, the US would steal your oil and use it for themselves, creating a dependency on your supply. But you eventually stop ordering oil, which fucks the US over since their supply suddenly dries up. Finally, money decides everything in American politics. If you make an entire country stop buying oil, big oil is going to stop buying republicans.

  • Side note to anyone who hasn’t ever seen sign language stuff: I went to a performance of spring awakening my college put on. I went to one of the accessible performances where they pay for sign language translators and spot lit them up front alongside the performance.

    It was amazing. Added a totally unexpected dimension to the performance. They were able to express EVERYTHING done verbally in purely physical expression. I had no idea it was so expressive.
