  • interesting! I've never seen that before, maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't.

  • Even using desktop apps it seems like these services just don’t even try to stream audio. If they just made a pipewire node I could connect it up easily but they don’t even try that.

  • On their roadmap thingy they do have it, but from what I can see, it’s at the very bottom of their priority list. So it might be something they’ll consider far in the future, but not necessarily soon

  • Note: stoat is self-hostable. There’s no federation (yet?) but you can run your own server easily

  • This… this is unhinged. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who thinks they need to earn the privilege of viewing content on a website.

  • I haven’t tried BBB, also Revolt is now called Stoat

  • lol, plutonium is their paid version of the software, so they’re just saying that nothing will print us to “upgrade”

  • Nope, no audio with the screen share

  • I feel like I’ve explored every alternative, and there’s one feature that’s missing from everything: audio with screen share. Not a single service lets me share my system audio with the people watching my screen

  • I think you have to start the verification from inside commet, go to the sessions of commet and try to verify another session

  • It does have screen sharing now! The Linux client currently can’t share system audio, but I think they’re working on that

  • Nope

  • Looks awesome! I’ll have to try it out tonight and maybe give some feedback.

  • No algorithm in the fediverse! (Very basic “algorithms” at most)

  • Cute!

  • My own! I feel like I run it pretty well, I certainly trust myself with my data than others. But otherwise, id probably recommend lemmy.zip or piefed.social

  • I’m ootl, they released an AI trailer???

  • Keep what to comics? Is this not a political meme?

  • Oh? I’m unfamiliar with Mazda unreliability, I have a 2015 Mazda 6, do you know if that’s in the range of unreliable? It’s been fine so far for 70,000 miles
