  • Yeahhh, that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking, I guess I’ll give it another 2ish hours and see if it ever resolves

  • That does look very good, but it’s so little, it’s like two bites

  • Dude! That looks AMAZING! There’s a local Ramen shop kinda nearby my house, I might head there tomorrow

  • Wait what???? I always thought it was assigned cop at birth, meaning they’ll always act like a cop. But that make more sense

  • So, MAAA? Oh no, the big bad leopard at your face and now the poor rich people are crying for their mommies? Boohoo

  • I think it’s really cool how I can understand this (and a lot of memes actually) without knowing any German

  • I know it’s not exactly what you’re asking for but fedora is reaaaally nice. I don’t think I’ve had a single “unstable” package and it’s kept up to date really well. The only concern I have with it is red hat, I’m just hoping they don’t decide to enshittify

  • I grew up on macOS, until a few years ago where I actually had my own personal computer for the first time, which had windows pre installed, so i used that and like it a lot more than macOS, i just felt so much more free, and the general workflow felt more intuitive to me, then, early this year, i switched to Linux and there’s no way in hell I’ll ever go back. In just a couple months I learned more about how computers worked than I did over something like 12 years of using computers as a teen. It’s really crazy to me how once you get something set up on Linux, it just works, and all of the documentation is open and detailed!

  • This looks too good to be true, especially from aliexpress

  • If I had to take a guess, it’s probably from the voltage of the battery, if you have a volt meter/multimeter you can test out how the batteries work before putting them in

  • Dude I’d love it if an asparagus truck came around with like fresh grilled/seasoned asparagus

  • I have a very high budget, but I’d like to stay under $300, I already use Linux, I’m used to spending weeks tinkering with things.

  • 3DPrinting @lemmy.world

Looking to get my first 3d printer, any suggestions?

  • No way! I’ll have to try this when I get home! I’ve been using alvr with mediocre success so if steam link works I’ll be so happy

  • mailbox.org rebrands to just "mailbox", revamps web UI, adds mobile PWA, email categories, undo send

  • Gmail has an undo send feature, in reality, every email you send through Gmail is delayed by something like thirty seconds, and if you click undo send within that time, it simply won’t send the email

  • Good point! I didn’t catch that earlier, that one’s definitely wrong

  • I’m on the west coast of the US! Washington to be specific.

  • I’d actually argue that my usage is correct here, it’s probably a regional thing but imo, set up means the verb of setting something up, whereas setup is a noun referring to a specific way that something was set up

  • Selfhosted @lemmy.world

Finally set up nginx as a reverse proxy.

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

Does anyone have suggestions for buying a webcam?

  • Selfhosted @lemmy.world

    Any recommendations for peertube frontends?

  • Linux @lemmy.world

What can I do with this?

  • memes @lemmy.world

    Seriously, you're probably dehydrated
