  • Eh, it depends. I don't know how to sew, except to fix a hole in my sock. Couldn't make a coat, never needed or wanted to.
My mother can't use a computer besides checking her emails and finding a movie to watch, which is all she needs and wants to know.
Now, if it's your job to use one effectively and haven't got a clue? I expect you'd end up in management in no time.

  • Did you expect a new storyline with 3 different endings within 3 hours of the game release?
Someone go whip those lazy modders back in shape, they've had too long of a break since the last TES release and have grown complacent.

  • Not necessarily, paperless offers various sorting and cataloguing features, as well as rules and basic learning. If you spend time setting it all up, it should drive itself in time and search may only be a fallback mechanism.

It's really useful where you can tell it 'catalogue this as x, but also store it as y'. So, again, if done properly, you can move to another system with already well catalogued document structure.

  • I doubt it's malice as often as a cost saving measure presented in a scummy/lazy way.
The simple fact is that all browsers load pages differently.
If you want to minimise cost, you'll optimise the site to the most popular browsers.
Firefox, unfortunately, is at the very bottom of the popular browser list.

There's absolutely nothing else that most sites gain by promoting Google.
Except, as of recent, a lower likelihood of user having an ad blocker.

  • Not everyone has time, skill, or desire to spend their nights learning how to build and configure a nas.
People have other hobbies than IT, so if a photographer wants to have a local storage for his portfolio without faff, I guess they can get fucked?
    Really with your gatekeeping

  • Oil rule

  • Well, those are boiled veggies, sure. I'm not using oil when steaming either, so that not very relevant. That said, I'm pretty sure you do get better results with oil (surface layer, not a pool) when baking veggies.
But this is science and I'm definitely no expert!

  • Oil rule

  • Depends on what we're frying. If it's breaded chicken, too little oil will result in uneven browning. Little to no oil on many veggies will cause parts to be burned whilst the rest is still raw.
