  • These are all presumably Android apps. Is there a list for IOS apps?

  • It's a reasonable stance to take given the current climate.

  • This article says nothing of substance and still manages to contradict itself.

  • Protect the children! Except when the children actually need protecting, then we can't do anything!

  • For controlling fan curves, including the pump control for my CLC, and monitoring sensors, I've been using coolercontrol.

Bazzite has a just recipe for installing it out of the box: just open a terminal and run ujust install-coolercontrol

It's actually the best monitoring/control application I've used across every OS. I was really impressed when I first tried it.

  • Does this community need a post every time there's a new spam account?

  • Is it now handing out IPs in a different subnet? Check the IP given to your client.

  • Yes just like HTTP, FTP, SMTP, telnet and all the other pre-TLS protocols that we now run over TLS for exactly this reason.

Google, just like every other modern mail client, supports connecting to POP3 servers over SSL:

  • That post I saw on Mastodon a couple of years ago about how the poster doesnt want any household appliances that beep when theyre finished and it was quite funny but now the post doesnt seem to exist anymore.

  • No one in their right mind should be doing this anyway

    Why not?

  • Lets just make every OS the exact same so that we don't "confuse the users." That will work out so well.
