"save" is a bit of misnomer. The animals are forcibly bred into a life of pure suffering. That is what they are being saved from. The less demand for animal torture, the less the industry needs to breed.
You can use :force t without package inferred systems. If you want to force just a single file, you can just load it. I find that package inferred systems is a nasty tight coupling of packages, systems, and directory structure (files). These 3 things are all perfectly happy being loosely coupled.
I've been using Guix system for a couple years and am really liking it. I got a new computer and put popos on it for the seamless Nvidia drivers, but I still have guix package manager and Guix system on other computers.
Gnome 3.38 (vertical workspaces) was peak workflow. Primarily use super+tab to switch applications. Workspace overview is mainly for moving apps around or opening new apps. You should never need to whiz through the workspaces looking for an app. I never have more than 4 workspaces and usually only have 2. It would be nice if the top panel could be more useful or take up less space, but I must be able to see the time at a glance.
You can release your other code under gpl 3 or agpl. If you or someone wants to use it in an mit licensed project you can license it to them under a special license that stipulates that it can only be used in that project and they must give back any changes. Lawyers, please confirm.
