There's a massive amount of hype right now, much like everything was blockchains for a while.
AI/ML is not able to replace a programmer, especially not a senior engineer. Right now I'd advise you do your job well and hang tight for a couple of years to see how things shake out.
I would say make the top bar the same or similar to the excellent title bars you've already got. Currently feels like they're from 2 different systems.
EDIT my personal preference is to colour the minimize maximize close buttons.
Other ideas: round the corners just a tiny bit. Make the dock look more like the taskbar maybe. See if there's examples from "Windows 95 Plus!" Which I think had extra themes.

Too much manipulation by racists, nazis, and russia. All they have to do is tell 4chan that doing x/y/z will offend people, and suddenly they are a willing personal army.
Back when stormfront said how easy it was to funnel chanfolk into their ideology, I honestly thought 4chan would break stormfront. I didn't expect such enthusiasm for an ideology that would outlaw 4chan if it got enough power.
