  • Why are you still beholden to the german “”" laws"“” ?

While the baltics won't raid my house and seize my electronics, I'm not so sure that the Germans wouldn't anyways if I were to host extremist content. Media is actually hosted in Germany again (surprisingly better legal situation than the balitcs).

  • I agree that this is off-topic, next time post to !darknet@monero.town or something similar. Regarding the content itself, per German constitution:

TLDR: Artistic freedom is guaranteed. CSAM laws say drawings are fine. Conclusion: You are free to advertise your event because I don't have to go to jail. Just don't post it to !monero next time.

  • Thank you Vik, much appreciated <3

  • It's not in the !monero sidebar but in the Monero.town instance sidebar. Not sure if you can even see it on any mobile app if it isn't your home instance.

  • I don't know if this is what you are referring to but I'm not ofrn ,:)

  • At least topaz fulfills one of the aspects of foss by being very easy to pirate /s

  • While this post belongs in a monero-jobs community, this seems to be the real dMartian and not a random spammer.

  • I'm using firefox and see webp fine, may I ask why you have an add-on to block them? As far as I can tell, webp is massively superior over other image formats when it comes to low storage/data requirements for webhosting.

  • We have a Matrix room for live discussions: #monero.town:monero.social :D

  • The one we are now running on is 20$ for 1TB for a year, pretty good if you ask me :)

  • As r/Monero mod, can confirm that even specifically "allowed" accounts still have to have all their comments manually approved. Just use town.

  • The lemmit thing isn't needed anymore because we host our own, more reliable RSS bot now

  • I'm not sure about that one, it get's a lot of posts / spam and usually I only ever look at the posts for a quick glance at the comments. Is it really that valuable without them?

  • After refreshing the page it should show subscribed, there's no manual approval for that :)

  • I don't think people would like me "abusing my mod powers" on reddit that way 😅
