I set up Lubuntu for my mom on an old laptop because it couldn't handle mint. She liked that it felt new and familiar enough, but she didn't love it enough to not go back to Windows when she got newer more powerful laptop.
To echo what a lot of people are saying, just go for it with confidence (which is easier said than done, I know.) "Hey, I think we would be a good couple and I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometimes." And if they no with same confidence (or fake it) "I'm so sorry, i must have misread the situation. Don't worry, you don't have have to be awkward around me.". And that'll take the pressure off of both of you so it's not weird
What about "Hey l'm so sorry I really can't talk right now, I have to finish the yardwork before [some excuse] but I can stop by tomorrow to chat for a few minutes."
Like what you like! l'm not here to yuck anyone's yum. You like Systemd cool. You prefer something like Runit cool. You don't care one way or the other, that's fine. Run what you want ... BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO
Besides physical violence, the most absurd thing I've seen was a man who bought a car after his wife pleaded not to because it would bankrupt them. He didn't like that she was "telling him what to do." They had two perfectly fine vehicles btw.
Losing gives you a chance to practice being happy for someone else. Remember board games especially are an excuse for you and a bunch of people you like to sit at a table and do something fun. If you can't find joy in simply playing a game, just take a moment to appreciate the joy and excitement of the people around you.
I use Void Linux. I switched from Arch btw because I liked their package manager, was curious about their init system runit, and still wanted a rolling release. I've used it for a little over a year now and overall I've been happy.
Without. Eroge is not my thing.
