  • If anything, Josh showcases to us that the games he breaks or gets creatively chaotic in, are games we should avoid. Some of them anyways, like a lot of those awful simulator-based games. I don't know why anyone in the world would think we would need simulator-based games on already menial IRL work. I would just get PTSD if I was forced to play those games like they expect me to.

  • To put it simply - it's not anyone's fucking business of what I do. Government needs to stay out of my bedroom and love life as to who I decide on who I want to love, bar doing it with minors understandably. Churches need to stay out of it too.

It's not my workplace's business to pry into my personal life about why it affects me and my performance. They should just understand that people have bad and good days and leave it at that.

  • If you can look back on the road you've ridden in your life and just have as few regrets as possible, then you've made your life as well as it could've been with the cards you've been dealt. When it is a very confidently-backed 'Good enough' than one where you feel like you could've done more.

  • I fucking hate that word 'Innovation'. It is spammed by corporatebros who think their shit doesn't smell.

  • Or it is poorly documented. Like what, you think you've made a quantum kind of software that is so special you felt you didn't need to jot any notes down of it?

  • It works out of the box - if you do nothing at all to it and just browse.

But to do anything like getting all of your favorite programs, that's going to take effort.

  • I would hate to die knowing I've never once met a friend outside of where I live. Some of my best friends, were actually ones I met online who are a bit of a ways away. If I can even see them once or twice in my lifetime, I'll be good.

But the reason traveling is such a big deal because, well, would you feel content being in the same spot for all of your life? I wouldn't.

  • A lot of 7th gen games did great with that kind of space.

  • We need politics to be boring again.

I'm tired of living in "interesting" times. Because whats interesting, is detrimental to everyone equally aside those benefiting.

  • Ceased in 2024 officially.

  • No thrift store will ever be short of DVDs.

However, finding the ones you actually want i.e released in stores who still bother with DVDs, gonna have some patience.

  • That's why you get a media server, do all of the pirating you've done years prior and get software that'll load up all of those shows and movies by a click of a button. Nobody has time these days fumbling around with that shit.

  • Every generation of people will be nostalgic for the period they've grown up in.

I've grown up in the 90s and 00s, so there are things in those decades that I hold dearly or will have a bias towards.

People born in the '10s will have theirs, people born in the 50s .etc

We took the world as it was in our times and some of us can admit that the world was never perfect, we just found what gems we did find through it all.

  • Oh yeah, we seem to love them. There's a lawyer for motorcyclists, I see it everytime I drive down the strip of road where I live.

  • Played it, beaten it. Gets a bit samey at times.

  • Technically speaking, the 2nd Amendment allows Americans to overthrow their leaders if they become too out of control.

    Good luck finding that somebody.

  • For example to support your comment. There is nothing a democratic president could do, to just get rid of the Department of Homeland Security. It was installed by George W Bush. There would be backlash from the executive branch for even attempting, it'd be political suicide. Another thing is trying to end the War on Drugs, started by Reagan. That has been running for over 40+ years now, it's not going away because that's another political suicide scenario.

To even get people removed from certain seats of power, is going to require their way of voting and good luck getting everyone on board to do that. Everyone will fight tooth and nail to retain seats.

We're just going to be stuck with whatever bullshit Asshat-In-Chief did, for a long time until his laws and his judicial appointees just rot off and die before their time.

  • We later saw what Mojang did with Minecraft. Soon as Microsoft opened up its billions, it was hard to resist the offer. Notch has to be some of the most undeserving individuals to have been made rich from, given from how he has acted since Mojang sold to Microsoft.

  • Well, yeah. There's a meme I actually saw that demonstrates how developers were back then compared to now. Developers back then, really did care about how to make a game at its best with like...2MB of cache or very little video memory or what little of bits they had to work with.

Today and for a while, with technology as to where it is at where sky is virtually the limit, we've got games that are so poorly optimized, it makes you wonder.
