  • Advice on build upgrade

  • I didn't had any idea it was incompatible! I tought it was the fact that i had to buy two separate sticks cause i did a mistake ordering and bought 1x16gb instead of 2x8 and had to buy another 16gb one (same brand, same mhz and CL speed obv) and that they didnt go well together. Hope that is as you say and a new CPU will hold the 3200mhz!

    About the CPU for what i've seen in my superficial research for now, 5600 and 5600x are about the same price with no big differencies, both around the 100€. For the 5700x i asked cause i found one for just 15€ more and didn't know if it makes sense to get it over the 5600x for this small of a difference, but i guess it can't hurt right? Sadly i cant afford the x3d, even if i read that they're much better :(

    About the GPU, as i said to another comment i would prefer not to upgrade if not strictly necessary, as i don't need to squeeze every fps out of the cpu. If just the CPU gets me to that desidered fps, and not upgrading the GPU doesnt destroy my sistem or worse the performance of it, i can wait a few years :)

  • I'll prefer not to upgrade the GPU if its not absolutely necessary. I mean, if not upgrading it doesn't worsen my performaces and with just the CPU i get to that desidered fps, i don't care if i dont reach the max potential of the CPU, at least for now.

    Im trying to save money and that GPU would be another 200ish €.

  • Thank you very much :) i would go a bit higher with the hardware so he could have some more flexibility on the games he could play (and a bit more fps on cs2 haha) and also so the build could be a bit future proof. Do you think it could be upgraded easily in case of need? Or the case is too smal to fit gpu's?

  • 800€ and integrated gpu? Wow, do gpu's price went that up? I had the same budget for my pc and i managed to get an RX 580, not the very best but it does the job and at least its not integrated.

  • Tbh as a kid and even know a lot of the fascination behind the job as writer was all the freedom you get. How mundane you can be while creating something that will resonate even 50-100 years after you passed. You can write everywhere, while you enjoy life and travel to your favourite places and just chainsmoke cigs and binge drink alcohol. (This is the idea i had of a writer, damn you Hemingway) Having said that, i would love to write something that makes other feel like i feel when i read some good books. The feeling that reading that book in that precise moment is the best thing i could do with my life.

    But to write something that isn't complete and utter shit like a lot of books i see, the first thing you have to be is: very cultured and you have to master the language in which you'll write. In order to get to that point the only thing you can do is educate yourself and read, so as of now i try to read both because i enjoy it and because i feel like i need to get a good vocabulary and idea on how to express a coherent tought that isn't the most cliché thing you've read in your life.

  • I was quite lucky finding cash on the ground some time ago. I found 50 euro bill two times, 20 one time 10 another one and i think 5 one or two times.
