  • LibreWolf is the only right answer.

  • Religion, spirituality, and the afterlife. They’re all really fucking stupid made-up nonsense and are an absolute waste of time and thought. May as well try to imagine a new color.

  • *child rape slave trafficker

  • Not touching nor interacting with the needle enables it only to go farther right.

I get it, shit sucks, and everything is broken, but that is just a fucking stupid and masturbatory response to the situation. It’s very self centered and myopic, I’m sorry, man, but you’re not a hero, nobody is, and that is a shit excuse to do nothing while patting yourself on the back like it was something.

Not directed at you just a general statement. If you don’t vote then you’ve quite literally not done anything, and you didn’t do nothing for the sake of others, you did nothing to fulfill your own ego, stop bragging about it.

  • Tada!

  • They also come with the risk of death and paralysis. Shit should be illegal, and at one point was until they declared it a religious belief.

  • Tada!

  • Just pay for a massage, not a stupid woowoo one, a real one, depending on where you go it might be covered by insurance. They actually know how the body works, as far as that issue goes and require more licensing than a chiropractor. Chiropractic is a pseudo science con with the potential of causing spinal fractures and paralysis.

  • I’d say it will be fun to point and laugh at them when they are proven to be stupidly wrong, just like every other end of days bullshit, but sadly when it doesn’t work out like they are psychotically convinced it will, you know the whole easter bunny coming back and bringing the righteous armageddon thing, they will just throw the nuclear football and pretend it was all par for the course. We all get to die for their selfish and idiotic faith, neat, huh?

Remember, don’t bother hiding when you hear that the bombs are coming, nothing can save you from the white hot atonement, you’ll have just enough time to make a coffee, pet the cat, and maybe watch an episode of your favorite show. It won’t hurt.

  • That’s also not how lions work.

  • I’m just shocked that nobody got shot.

  • America is a conservative country, being mad that there are no perfect leftists to vote for is childish. Damage control and pushing the needle away from the right is our only pragmatic option. Anything else is just wishful thinking. The world sucks and there is no quick fix, bitching about that and doing nothing will, unsurprisingly, accomplish nothing. Be realistic, not dogmatic.

  • Hope is precisely what landed us in this mess. Reason, pragmatism, and being willing to compromise on ideals is what will get us out, but guess what humans have never shown the capability nor the desire to do as a species throughout literally all of documented human civilization? All we do is escalate, it’s all we’ve ever done, and it has only one possible way of ending. We burned down the first society the moment we made up organized religion, that has been the template ever since. Society is global now, destroying it this time around isn’t something that even the atmosphere will survive.

  • Can we just launch all the nukes and get it over with already? That’s how this all ends, we already know that, we aren’t going to become better at being people, things are not going to improve. It would be the path of least suffering, at this point.

  • It’s not, though. It’s the same administration, but the war complex and the anti-science conspiracy idiots aren’t the same root. If you removed everyone from the situation to stop war from happening the anti-vax idiots would still be in full force. There is more than one cause of problems in the world and there is more than one person or group causing them and more than one solution required to fix all the problems. This isn’t a storybook.

  • Yup, and it really feels like we’re beyond the trigger point for that bullet. Capitalism is devouring sustainability at every step, we have outright refused to do anything about what has to be at least a bakers dozen or two of things that we are fully aware of and know the solutions to that are completely and inarguably devastating the environment in irreversible ways from top to bottom, and to top it off we have a military super power under the governance of a regime of anti-intellectuals who have been planning, communicating, and executing a plan to destabilize and overtake foreign and domestic markets and governments so that they can buy out and control everything so that nobody can stop them from doing whatever the hell they want (this sounds insane, and to be clear it is. The things in the Epstein files aren’t just about raping and killing children, the top of the pyramid of capitalism is just a bunch of rich powerful juvenile psychopaths.) ever since, at least, Barry fucking Goldwater.

We have, in the midst of this glorious insanity, built a doomsday machine of nuclear obliviation that is primed and ready to glass the surface of this planet, and the amount of times they’ve almost set it off just by mistake, (not as part of being prepared for or reacting to a conflict or something, just earnest whoopsie daisies) is really comforting. I know how we, and everything else on this planet, are going to end as a species. And it could happen at any moment.

If you haven’t looked into it, the amount of nuclear warheads primed and ready to launch if a single one of them anywhere in the world launches is enough that there will be no atmosphere on this planet anymore. The bunkers of the rich and powerful will simply rob them of the mercy of a quick and painless death. We have built a more thorough apocalypse than any gods have ever dared to dream. Tears in the rain, baby.

  • There can be more than one bad thing happening, we get it, war is bad, but this is an entirely separate issue that deserves its own attention.

  • It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

  • People are animals, apes to be specific, we act on instinct and adhere to the animal nature of our species. There is nothing grand or divine about us. There is nothing special to us, other than our ability to survive in different climates and environments, and there is nothing that separates us from the animals. We are the equivalent to over abundant irresponsible beavers with thumbs. The only reason we, as a species, think otherwise is purely delusion and wishful thinking.

    Also, mothman did 9/11.

  • From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal.
