  • Ah yes, the hot trend of 2014, MOBAs. Genius.

  • I dunno, I'm posting my boards one a week to social media like Twitter and Reddit, for a year. 52 boards, and that's not even the entire collection. I'm putting these boards into Keebuilder, as a way to track my collection while adding in all the nice photos I'm taking for the social posts. There's certainly no shortage of using my boards when posting to social media, but I do see your point that Keebuilder is a phone app and you don't use a keyboard to fill in its information.

I guess for me my boards are getting use no matter what, I'm fine with using my phone to catalog the collection, my boards aren't complaining they're getting ignored.

  • It really has stood the test of time. It's a great shooter

  • And they don't want to do anything for themselves. It's why AI is gaining ground, everyone is too lazy to do anything for themselves, and that includes finding good games and hacking their own roms.

  • Mechanical Keyboards @lemmy.ml

Keebuilder is the mechanical keyboard cataloging and sharing app I've been waiting for

    guiltygamer.com /keebuilder-intuitive-app-mechanical-keyboard-enthusiasts/
  • It's still working, set myself up the other day. You have to use a specific version of the app, an older one, and turn off Internet when installing so you can toggle the auto update off. There is a fork of Alfs code, but I just used the regular one and it was fine.

  • Uh, what does BL4 have to do with anything? You said it's "not true" the game has issues compiling shaders, the video I linked that you admit showcases blatant stuttering issues proves it does.

  • I didn't say there aren't any good games. I said I wish there were too many

Are there too many quirky games like Jumping Flash and Katamari. Nope

Are there too many games like Gran Tourismo that aren't pay to win slop. Nope, and that sadly includes Gran Tourismo. As a matter of fact there are hardly any quality racing games at all

Are there too many games like Dead or Alive/Soulcalibur? Big ol nope

Are there too many games like the OG Jak and Daxter? Nope

Are there too many games like Metal Gear Solid? Hard no

Are there too many games like Advance Wars? Nope

Are there too many games like MDK? No no and no

Are there too many games like Fallout 3? No

Are there too many games like Portal? No

Are there too many games like Mass Effect? Nope

Are there too many games like Wow? Nope, just a tiny selection of clones

Are there too many games like Final Fantasy with turn-based combat? Nope, not even Final Fantasy, and the majority of good turn-based JRPGs are remakes

I could easily go on. However, the point is made.

So, as I was saying, I wish there were too many good games. Sadly, the majority is middle-of-the-road indies recycling and combining played-out genres, and AAA horseshit. And that's why they aren't selling or gaining traction; people don't want them. That isn't a problem of too many games; it's an industry problem of pushing out too much junk. If they wanna make more sales, they should get back to making good games that aren't a pale imitation of better games from decades past.

  • You fizzled out there fast, kiddo. Better luck next time

  • Lol, telling you can't refute any of that, huh. Respected journalist indeed. Funny how you immediately jump to silly accusations when someone says something you don't like. Pot meet kettle, try taking your own advice bucko :)

  • Track record, lol. You mean like sitting on a bunch of abuse stories, allowing more people to get abused by Blizzard's higher-ups so he could publish and push his book? Or do you mean his support of grifter Sweet Baby Inc? Or do you mean his blatant racism, shaming a small dev team for having the same skin color? Or do you mean his soyboy aversion to titties as he shat all over the masterpiece Dragon's Crown? Or do you mean his participation in the private Gamejournopros mailing list, where he and his colleagues colluded and schemed against gamers?

The dude is a joke, straight up, a known liar and utter piece of shit fearmongering for clicks.

  • Mexico bored the shit out of me. Looking forward to Japan.

  • You'll never get the recruiters to participate, because their companies will never let them. LinkedIn is corpo hive-mind central, friendly to corpos first and foremost. What you're proposing wouldn't be friendly to corpos, inherently, so they'll never join, and they hold the strings because they are the ones with jobs to offer.

You're literally asking how to take the corporatism out of LinkedIn when that is precisely what allows it to exist. Why would any company participate on a platform that gives workers the advantage? Hint, they won't.

  • Lol, try to figure out which Gen the controllers are. Microsoft is run by morons

  • I wish there were too many good games. There aren't, but there is certainly too much slop. Maybe stop making slop with hundred-man teams? Nah, it's the market that's the problem.

Schreier still proving he's a moron who hates games and gamers.

  • I love this idea, what a great way to raise money

  • It's a conundrum, as being free-to-play is why the silly fanservice exists, T&A sells. But should China move past this shit with premium releases, they could end up buckling to the pressure to appeal to the modern audience and tone things down like everyone else, thus destroying what makes their designs so appealing in the first place.

  • The best part is that people can't even decide what the parent term roguelike even means. It's a source of constant arguments what a true roguelike is, resulting in terms like roguelite. Now, everyone is adding even more terms to the original, and at a certain point, all these words kinda lose their meaning as they get further watered down. But hey, at the end of the day, you and everyone else immediately knew what roguevania was implying, so it did its job I guess.
