  • I think Kamala would be a okay President (as in, "not a fucking idiot" ), however she's still a corporate pawn, Israeli shill and centre right like most other Dems who's main selling point is "not Trump". There are few good options within the whole party who actually support social agendas and not whatever a company's lobbyists or Zionists are paying them to support.

    But more crucially, she's a woman, and not white and for 50% of the voting population (i.e. the ones who actually get off the couch to go vote), their racism and misogyny is more than enough reason to not vote for her - in fact, they'd relish in not doing so as it supports their fundamental principles of being a cunt.

  • This is both good and sucky for everyone. I feel for the family - glad for them to have some conclusion, but also sad for them to find out she just left.

    We don't know what the mum went on to do. Whether she just noped out and lived by herself, or even if she had another family. Many unanswered questions and all anyone is left with is more unanswered questions and more undeserved pain for this family.

    All I'll say, as a father of a couple of kids, is well done to the dad for holding them all together. I hope the mother will one day give them all the closure they deserve but I have a sneaking suspicion that all this will lead to is feelings of abandonment rather than loss.

  • After kinda stopping Just Cause 3 (just got same-y after getting the jetpack and taking over most of the world) but barely done any of the missions I decided to finally start Hollow Knight. Loved it but I can already tell it's going to be challenging (I've got to the Fungal Wastes) and I just don't have the patience to get gud enough to finish it. But it scratched my metroidvania itch. I wanted a more narrative have and as I've recently upgraded to a 9070xt and 5k2k (G75f in case anyone was wondering), so I started playing The Longest Journey! HD modded version but it's still a 25yo game so can run on a potato. Seems good so far.
