  • Den 12 januari 1956 rapporterar DN att försäljningen av semlor redan ”tjuvstartat” i Helsingborg.

Två år senare (1958) skriver DN igen om hur man i Skåne börjat sälja semlor redan i januari. Men redan före 1950-talet hade man börjat sälja semlor innan fettisdagen.

Att tjuvstarta med semlorna ett par veckor innan fettisdagen får nog räknas som tradition vid det här laget.

Det verkar som det är just skåningar som är extra förtjusta i semlor. Eller så gillar dom bara att bryta mot lagar och traditioner.

  • I liked the first Outer Worlds but didn't even look towards Outer Worlds 2 because it was other better or more interesting games that was released last year.

It feels like it was to much to release Avowed, Outer Worlds 2 and Grounded 2 in the same year. They should have spread out the games more to polish them more before the release.

  • Thanks! Was just reading about the Norwegians in the news so I don't know about everything, but I think the voting was determined before the release of the Epstein documents and the trial of Marius. It was some parties on the far left who wanted to have the voting and they knew that they would not be close to a majority.

I'm from Sweden and people here like our king and also Victoria so I'm sure they will also handle a lot before there are any serious discussions about going for a president instead of a king.

  • Thanks, I didn't know it increased that rapidly. However, I still think some people was buying gold after they saw that it increased a lot and they could have lost money.

  • Seems like the prices are increasing again so it was a good call to buy more.

  • Really nice list. One can spend many hours on these games.

  • Not only did she send texts to Epstein, she also visited him and stayed in his house in Florida. And all this was after Epstein was convicted in 2008.

They had a debate and voting in the Norwegian parliament today about the future for the royal family. 84% voted to keep the royal family.

  • It's a nice guide, I used it last year when switching on several apps.

  • The second biggest purchasing was noble metals, which must have hurt with the big drop during the latest week.

  • In Sweden, the Central Bureau of Statistics publish the import and export from all countries. So far the numbers for 2025 has not been published. There it will be possible to see how the trade between Sweden and USA changed during 2025.

I assume similar statistics are available for other countries.

During the last weeks I have seen in the news that the wines from USA decreased 20% and the travel to USA decreased around 20-30 % during last year. And since the dollar became cheaper the normal behaviour would be that the travel to USA increased.

  • To join EU, a country needs to comply with several conditions. The conditions for economical and political stability are OK, I assume. But Canada would need to adapt to EU laws. How big is the gap between the laws in Canada and what EU requires?

Is it anything that stops EU and Canada from agreeing on free trade, open borders etc. even if Canada is not a part of EU? That would be weaker since one side can elect a weirdo and suddenly stop all agreements but it could be faster to implement and Canada could join later.

  • They have learned to say the right things for the voters, but they have not understood what it means and are continuing like before because of that.

  • Yeah, I also understood the headline but not the other text.

  • Good that some companies can invest in talent. It must be tough to lose a job, get a new job and then lose that one as well within two years and I can't imagine how it would feel like to lose my job three times in two years.

  • Mandatory reference to Protondb, which lists how well every game performs on Linux. 84 % of the top 100 games on Steam are rated as gold or platinum.

  • Then it is really bad. I hope they find other jobs.

  • That would be nice, but the colours are to bright for an evil lair. I suggest your first action is to repaint it to dark grey.

  • Yes? Isn't kick-starter made for this case? The problem is that the money from kick-starter is usually not enough, it is more to prove to other investors that people are interested so the other investors dare to go in with more money.

  • Is it dot com bubble levels of lay offs? I just want to have some kind of reference point, not being rude.
