I know it's a manga about dragons but I still wonder where all this ice is coming from. Is she sucking out the moisture from the surrounding air? Using her own body's water supply? I feel like that would dehydrate her incredibly quickly so maybe a mixture of both? The answer is probably 'dragon magic' but I'm still curious about the deeper physical implications of these powers.
Easter is almost here so I thought I would bring back the bunny frame! I admit, I never liked Ivara. She's my least favorite of all the invisibility frames. Her kit encourages gameplay that's just way too slow for my tastes. I think Cyte-09 does the stealthy marksman role much better, his kit is far more engaging and effective than Ivara's. She used to be the queen of Spy and Conservation but she's been usurped by Perspicacity Wukong and Rest&Rage Titania for both. Her bow, even with the exalted changes, remains unimpressive. All she has going on for her is Dashwire+Navigator shenanigans and using Noise+Sleep arrows to put entire tilesets to sleep, a funny but not very effective tactic.
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Ivara
The stealth archer, the loot thief, bunny frame - Ivara!
Passive: Ivara's innate enemy Radar has a larger radius, detecting enemies and displaying their position on the minimap within 50 meters rather than the usual 30 meters.
Quiver - Cycle through and shoot one of four tactical arrows: Cloak, Dashwire, Noise and Sleep. In the Conclave, use the Null-Shield and Slow Arrows.
Navigator - Assume control of a projectile and guide it to the target.
Prowl - Become invisible and steal loot from unsuspecting enemies or take out prey with deadly headshots.
Artemis Bow - Summon a mighty bow and unleash a volley of devastating arrows.
Acquisition: Main and component blueprints are acquired from Spy missions.
Nourish/Roar are the boring but solid options, even with lowered power strength they still provide a considerable damage boost. A good alternative (and my preferred option) is Lycath's Hunt from Voruna, with Equilibrium this completely solves any energy issues you could possibly have and enables the use of Arcane Blessing to give Gara a rather considerable tankyness increase. You can also add Health Conversion to give that large health pool you got an extra layer of defense to make Gara VERY hard to bring down, so long as you keep on killing to make the health orbs happen.
Gara's already impressive nuking capabilities have been augmented even further with the Exalted melee changes! Her Shattered Lash is now a nuke itself, no longer needing to rely on her 1+4 combo to massacre crowds. All that on top of having a 90% DR with a stacking damage aura that she can share with her teammates! Very solid frame that, like Zephyr, is woefully underplayed for how powerful she is.
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Gara
The Eidolon slayer, glass warrior, walking maelstrom of death - Gara!
Passive: When casting an ability, Gara's glass body has 15% chance to Blind enemies within 12 meters for 10 seconds, exposing them to Melee Finisher attacks. Blind chance increases by 20% until the blind triggers.
Shattered Lash - Lash out with stream of shattered glass, or hold for an arcing strike.
Splinter Storm - Gara's armor splinters into a maelstrom of shattered glass that slices enemies and impairs their weapons. Allies who contact the cloud are fortified against damage.
Spectrorage - Trap enemies in a carousel of mirrors, forcing them to attack visions of their true selves. Destroyed mirrors damage their attackers, as does the collapse of the carousel.
Mass Vitrify - Create an expanding ring of molten glass that slowly crystallizes enemies who enter. When the expansion is complete, the rin
Free weapon slot, can never have enough of these! Thanks!
Brief post today because I'm sick and thinking is hard. Wukong is another winner of the Exalted rework, a particularly big one as his staff went from being his default subsumed over ability to his best one. Massive range, 1.0x follow through, great crit and status + Influence and fast spin attacks, the usual good stuff. For anyone who misses the Spin2Win Maiming Strike meta, Wukong brings it back now!
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Wukong
The monkey king, master of spy speedruns, Spin2Win - Wukong!
Passive: Wukong has learned five techniques to avoid death whenever he takes fatal damage. Wukong will be randomly allowed 3 of these techniques per mission, each will make Wukong avoid entering bleedout upon taking fatal damage, Invulnerable for 2 seconds, restore 50% health, and provide a unique buff.
Celestial Twin - Shedding part of himself, Wukong creates a twin to fight by his side. Attack at range and the twin will melee, pull a blade and the twin will lay down covering fire. Use again to command the twin to attack a target with increased damage.
Cloud Walker - Evaporate into a cloud of mist and float through the battlefield, dazing any enemy encountered, while healing Wukong and his twin.
Defy - Wukong and his twin become invulnerable and defy enemies to attack. All damage is captured, stored, and dealt back in a single furious st
What an ending! I was a bit worried but they wrapped things up pretty nicely. And of course in a typical Re:Zero fashion there was no way we could end things on such a high note, gotta add some suffering at the very end. We also have season 4 confirmation already so we might not have to wait 3 years like before for this cliffhanger to resolve!
Really nice conclusion to this arc, most friendships start from a very superficial point, like liking the same thing or how they look but then learning more about the person and enjoying them for who they are. Ruri's circle of friends might have gathered around her because of her unusual look but they all stayed with her because of who she really is, half-dragon or not.
Ruri Dragon - Ch. 31 - Wish I Could've Stayed Normal
Man did this frame get a glow up with the Exalted changes! Blood Rush, Tennokai, Influence + Chromatic Blade, combo buildup from exalted blade's waves, so many wins for Excalibur in this update! He went from being probably the weakest of the starters late game to now likely being the strongest, the sheer potential of Influence on a pure electricity weapon with 1.0x follow through and massive range is insane. Still not really my type of warframe but he is undeniably an absolute powerhouse now, Baruuk has some serious competition now!
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Excalibur 2.0
The first warframe, master of the sword, influence goes brrrr - Excalibur!
Passive: Excalibur has improved mastery in the Tenno art of the blade, receiving +10% Attack Speed and +10% damage bonuses for melee attacks while wielding swords, dual swords, nikanas and rapiers.
Slash Dash - Dash between enemies while slashing with the Exalted Blade.
Radial Blind - Emits a bright flash of light, blinding all enemies in a small radius for several seconds.
Radial Javelin - Launches javelins towards enemies, dealing high damage and impaling them to walls.
Exalted Blade - Summon a sword of pure light and immense power.
Acquisition: Available as one of the three starting Warframe options. Otherwise his main blueprint can be purchased from the Market, component blueprints can be obtained from defeating Lieutenant Lech Kril on War, Mars.
I hope next week we get a 30min episode (or the actual dream, another 1,5h one like the first one) because there is still so much stuff to go through and only one episode left in the season. I feel like it's pretty much unavoidable they end it on a cliffhanger, but hopefully at least some of the plot points get resolved and we won't be left waiting for 3+ years for answers.
Ash is getting some much needed changes in the next update and I'm quite looking forward to them! He was always my favorite of the invisible frames so I'm happy to see him get some love. His 1 is getting a dmg boost which likely doesn't matter (unless it scales with the mods on his new exalted weapon, that would actually make it interesting!) but the projectile increase from 2 to 5 makes running it with it's armor stripping augment much more appealing. Smoke Screen getting a massive 50% duration increase makes this ability way more comfortable to use without needing to slot in every single duration mod possible (or subsuming over it and running Arcane Trickery instead). Teleport is actually useful now without needing to run it's augment, I still wish it worked like Kullervo's 1 and just let you teleport to anywhere. And Blade Storm getting turned into an exalted weapon and having it's mark mechanic condensed to just 1 turns it into an actual good end game nuke!
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Ash
A blade in the shadows, master assassin, the actual ninja in a space ninjas game - Ash!
Passive: Slash procs inflicted by Ash's weapons and abilities deal 25% more damage and last 50% longer.
Shuriken - Launches a spinning blade of pain, dealing high damage and impaling enemies to walls.
Smoke Screen - Drops a smoke bomb that stuns enemies and obscures their vision, rendering Ash invisible for a short time.
Teleport - Ash teleports towards the target, bringing him into melee range and making enemies vulnerable to finishers.
Blade Storm - Project fierce shadow clones of Ash upon groups of distant enemies. Join the fray using Teleport.
Acquisition: Main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Component blueprints are obtained from Venus Proxima (Systems), Neptune Proxima (Neuroptics), and Pluto Proxima (Chassis) Survival, Defense, Exterminate, and Volatil
I don't think Reinhard and Wilhelm made up, if anything their relationship is more hostile now than ever. Wilhelm called out to him using his name, asking Reinhard if he regretted his actions. After getting his answer, he turns his back to him and addresses him as "Sword Saint Reinhard-dono", using a very formal tone and his title and tells him he has nothing more to say to him. He goes from trying to reach out to a family member to coldly addressing a title bearer, a title that he likely hates considering what is has done to his love. While he understands why Reinhard did what he did he cannot accept his answer and so tells him to effectively "get lost", just in a more polite manner.
What an amazing episode! The Astrea family really is cursed, everyone in there seems to be miserable all thanks to the "blessing" of the sword saint. It turned Theressia from a happy flower loving girl into a war-scarred orphan, while poor Reinhard did the only reasonable thing he could do in the moment and it destroyed his relationship with his grandfather and pushed his father to hate him even further, considering he "killed" his grandmother twice now. It makes one almost able to feel some sympathy for even Heinkel, although I still can't feel bad for the bastard.
We have the numbers and Atlas is looking goooooood. 35% crit and 15% status makes modding for both a good choice, especially with the explosive potential of Influence. The 2.8m of base range is going to be crazy powerful as well, assuming it applies to the AoE parts of pseudo-exalteds. With Primed Reach that's a free extra 5,8m of range added to the base 2m, a massive increase and that's without any range on the frame! Add to that the much higher total damage once ramped up thanks to the combo changes and the consecutive punches frame is looking really good! Now if only DE also did something about the carpal tunnel you get by playing him, this whole pseudo-exalted rework would be perfect. Let me hold down the ability key to equip is as my melee weapon, or at least make holding it just continually cast the ability, please!
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Atlas
The rock, puncher supreme, 0% neck slider - Atlas!
Passive: Atlas is immune to Knockdown while in contact with the ground.
Landslide - Bash enemies with an exploding sliding punch, and repeat for a devastating combo. Petrified enemies take extra damage, and drop Rubble when destroyed. Rubble can heal Atlas and bolster his armor.
Tectonics - Summon a rock-wall, activate again to send the rocks crashing towards the enemy.
Petrify - Atlas' hardened gaze will fossilize foes, heal Rumblers, and create Petrified Bulwarks. When shattered, petrified enemies drop healing Rubble for Atlas.
Rumblers - Summon two elemental stone brawlers to the melee. Summoning petrifies enemies in close proximity to Atlas. When finished, Rumblers collapse into a pile of healing Rubble.
Acquisition: Main blueprint is awarded after completing The Jordas Precept Quest. Com
He's far an away the worst weapons platform frame in the game. Is he playable? Of course, Warframe is an easy game! But you would be far better served by playing even a basic Rhino compared to Chroma. Base damage increases are just not really that valuable with gun arcanes providing you more than enough. A Revenant with max power strength and Roar subsumed is completely invincible and has over 100% multiplicative damage multiplier that double dips on DoTs. Wisp can prime enemies with Breach Surge while also buffing your fire rate and can easily run Roar as her 4 as well. Nezha goes fast, has a multiplicative damage multiplier in Chakram and can spread DoTs from weapons across a massive area with Divine Spears. Compared to those, Chroma just falls off completely, not to mention 2 of his abilities are boring buffs that could easily be merged into one and the others do absolutely nothing. He looks really cool, his theme of a knight that wears the pelt of a slain Sentient dragon is awesome but the frame itself just sucks.
The loot frame! Not much else to say about Nekros, he's known for his Desecrate and that's pretty much the only thing keeping him relevant, the rest of his kit is middling at best. His Shadows are only useful for the purposes of soaking damage for Nekros with the Shield of Shadows augment. Terrify is a passable armor strip and Soul Punch is an ability that exists. It's a good thing this is a grindy game with a ton of resources that drop from enemies or else poor Nekros would be warming the bench along with Chroma, Loki and Limbo.
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Nekros
The necromancer, master of the dark arts, the original loot frame - Nekros!
Passive: Nekros and his Companions regenerates 5 Health when an enemy dies within 10 meters of him.
Soul Punch - A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.
Terrify - Casts fear into the hearts of nearby enemies, causing them to run away in terror.
Desecrate - Forces fallen enemies around you to drop additional loot.
Shadows of the Dead - Summons shadow versions of vanquished enemies to fight alongside you for a short period of time.
Acquisition: Main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Component blueprints can be obtained from defeating Lephantis on Magnacidium, Deimos.
Regulus is down! Guy really went out in the worst possible way, slowly alternating between the pain of stopping his heart and drowning. He gets no sympathy from me though, bastard more than deserved it! Watching Emilia go full ORAORAORA on him was great, and of course Reinhard just couldn't resist having the flashiest possible entrance, pulling off the Saitama special and launching himself off the moon.
I'm sitting on a pile of over 200k Endo and nothing to spend it on, it's the damned Credits that are always a bottleneck for me! I would rather pull my nails out than do more Index so I always end up running short on them.
Screw Gothic 3 and 4, this is the real sequel us Gothic fans have been waiting for! A genuine delight to play through, and the Polish voice acting was just as incredible as it was in Gothic 1 and 2, despite being a fan project! Waiting patiently for the Mod of the Decade edition to re-play it again and try out all the new things they add (very excited for the teased mage path!)
I've been playing a lot of Khora lately, she's become my go-to DPS frame of choice. Large part of why is how much of a glow-up Venari got in the companion rework, with the Assassin Posture they lock-in on Eximus units or Acolytes and tear through their overguard and armor (thanks to Sharpened Claws) near instantly. Not to mention the general mayhem they can cause with the insane status chance their claws have coupled with Contagious Bond. I'm ever so slightly worried about the impact pseudo-exalted rework will have on her Whipclaw, losing the 30% crit chance from Ceramic Dagger means red crits will no longer be achievable which nerfs the damage considerably. Gaining an arcane slot does little for her as Melee Exposure already works on Whipclaw, any other arcane you will be able to slot in has to compete with the raw power of 240% of more elemental damage. I hope DE rebalances the numbers when reworking the pseudo-exalteds and doesn't just copy them, Khora would likely survive just fine but frames like Atlas will become unusable without the crit chance buffs they get from Incarnons.
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Khora
The huntress and her loyal companion, mistress of chains, Whipclaw goes brrrr - Khora!
Passive: Khora's ferocious Kavat, Venari, fights alongside her with steadfast zeal. While Venari is alive, Khora passively gains a 15% movement speed boost. If Venari is killed, she will respawn beside Khora after 45 seconds, or instantly if summoned via the third ability for an energy cost.
Whipclaw - Send enemies reeling with a deafening whipcrack.
Ensnare - Bind a hapless target in living metal, entangling others who stray too close. Whipclaw will refresh the trap allowing it to capture more enemies.
Venari - Command Venari to focus on a target. Hold to cycle between Attack, Protect, and Heal postures. If Venari is killed, use this ability to revive her instantly.
Strangledome - Weave a dome of living chain that ensnares and strangles any enemy within, and any f
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Rhino
The immovable force, an ironclad warrior, wearer of the mightiest codpiece - Rhino!
Passive: If Rhino falls far enough to incur a Hard Landing, the ground impact will discharge a shockwave that deals Impact damage and Knockdown in a 6 meter area of effect.
Rhino Charge - Rhino charges towards a target, clobbering any in his path and goring his victim.
Iron Skin - Rhino hardens his skin, insulating himself from all damage.
Roar - Grants all nearby Warframes increased damage for a short duration.
Rhino Stomp - Rhino stomps with force sufficient to disrupt time, tumbling enemies around him in stasis.
Acquisition: Main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Component blueprints are obtained from defeating Jackal on Fossa, Venus.
Weekly Warframe Revisited: Lavos
The elemental alchemist, Orokin executioner, serpent whisperer - Lavos!
Passive: Lavos cleanses all active negative Status Effects and gains status immunity for 10 seconds upon collecting an Energy or Universal Orb. Picking up an Energy or Universal Orb has a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Ophidian Bite - Lash out with a toxic serpentine strike, consuming the target to heal Lavos.
Vial Rush - Dash forward, crashing through enemies and leaving an icy trail of broken vials.
Transmutation Probe - Launch a probe that converts Health and Energy Orbs into Universal Orbs that provide both, and ammo pickups into Universal Ammo Pickups. The probe shocks enemies in close proximity. Each electrocuted foe reduces other ability cooldowns by one second.
Catalyze - Catalyst Probes erupt from Lavos and douse combatants in a fiery gel. Damage is doubled for each element aff

Passive: Trinity and allies in her Affinity Range gain Lifegiver, which increases their Health equal to 50% (25% in Conclave) of Trinity's total Energy pool.

Weekly Warframe Revisited: Nyx
The psychic, mental manipulator, strongest minion frame - Nyx!
Release date: 2013-01-29
Passive: Nyx gains Thrive in Chaos whenever enemies within Affinity Range are afflicted with Confusion (from Radiation status effect or Mind Control), increasing her primary and secondary weapon Critical Chance by 40% per enemy up to a maximum of 200% from 5 enemies.
Mind Control - Nyx seizes control of a target's mind, compelling them to fight for the Tenno cause. Controlled enemies have increased Radiation Status Chance. When Nyx shoots them, they also have an increased Damage Multiplier.
Psychic Bolts - Nyx unleashes a volley of psychic bolts that track and strike nearby enemies with telekinetic precision. When enemies are slain, additional bolts scatter to new targets. Striking foes weakens their defenses and transfers a portion to Nyx.
Chaos - Nyx releases a devastating psychic pulse, diso
Weekly Warframe Revisited: ???
This is a bit of a unique twist on the weekly warframe format, instead of me bringing you the frame, it's time to do the opposite! (this is totally not because I have no ideas for a thread myself, nope!) Doesn't matter if it's an incredibly niche or a very popular warframe, if you have something to say about your favorite (or most hated) frame - this is your chance! Maybe you have a concept for a frame that doesn't exist but you wish it did? This is also the perfect chance to bring it up!

Weekly Warframe Revisited: Zephyr
The bird queen, air elemental, most underappreciated frame - Zephyr!
Release date: 2014-02-05
Passive: Striking from the skies above, Zephyr is significantly lighter in comparison to other Warframes, dramatically altering her airborne physics. While airborne, Zephyr’s equipped weapons gain a 150% Critical Chance bonus.
Tail Wind - From the ground, charge and release to launch Zephyr into an airborne hover. From the air, tap to dash forward, or aim down to dive bomb enemies below.
Airburst - Launch a burst of massively dense air. Hold to send enemies flying, tap to pull them toward the burst. Damage increases per enemy hit.
Turbulence - Creates a wind shield around Zephyr, redirecting all incoming projectiles.
Tornado - Create deadly tornadoes that seek out and engulf enemies. Tornadoes deal the elemental damage type they absorb

Neutralize - Summon the Neutra
