I mean it’s so rare nowadays to come across a game where you can tell: this is made by someone who genuinely wanted to make this game for the sake of making/playing it.
It’s always just another micro transaction storefront with graphics.
So today I made a VM of Debian that has all the DE’s as a matter of experiment to try them all out back to back to get an idea of what each one feels like. And right out of the gate gnome feels, a bit too abstract? You don’t get the sense that one screen is the default homescreen over another.
It looks nice but it feels weirdly organised. (Which I’m sure I could get used too, but you know preferences)

Oh we’re already there. Recently came across a clip of some douchbag asking someone on a livestream “what’s wrong about raping kids?” Like it was some kinda gotcha mic drop moment.
Why tf does this guy’s clothing perfectly blend with his environment? It’s like he went out shopping with a picture of this building and went “I need something that’ll have this colour palette”.
