I don't know much about their state legislatures. But if Cory Booker and Chris Christie are even half decent examples of what they're like, I'd be ASTOUNDED. But, I'd certainly like to be surprised. It's still a step in the right direction, hopefully similar bills are proposed in other states, especially those that are a bit more likely to pass them.
The hike in the graph didn't start with Trump. There are a LOT of things that we can blame that monster for. This, however, is not entirely his fault.
I'd guess that it has to do with the fact, that quite frankly, most young people had their futures taken by previous generations. Trust in the government has been declining for decades. The economy has been getting worse and worse for the average person for a while. Politics have gotten more and more divisive because of the trend in which both the Democratic and Republican parties going further and further right, creating a sense of conflict and distrust towards our fellow citizens.
Assuming that every single one of these problems is miraculously fixed, there's still the problem with the climate having already suffered irreparable damage. So, yeah, tons of fucked up shit in the world, paired with significant personal problems like bullying and social isolation, as well as all of us being able to see every single shitty thing that happens, I'd be surprised if it wasn't going up. Trump is a big part of several of those problems, to be fair.
Isn't there an exception for fasting related to sickness? Or does it need to be bad enough for it to be impossible to maintain health while fasting? Did I hallucinate it?
I've heard the same from several other people. Some of the other points that others realized include: him scrapping a rocket because it wasn't pointy enough, wasting over a billion dollars, when he fucked up Tesla, and when he made a fool of himself on Twitter after he had purchased it. More people realized after he created the rolling dumpster, some others realized when he roleplayed as his toddler son, even more have realized over the past year after it came out that he paid other people to play Path of Exile 2 for him, and I'm sure that even more realized that he was a loser after he posted ai dogshit of himself as Iron Man, and I'm sure some other things. Even more recently, he's been ridiculed for begging to go to Epstein's island, and seemingly being seen as such a loser by Epstein that he wasn't allowed to go. He went from being seen as a cool, interesting man, albeit a bit eccentric, to being seen as who he truly is, one of the biggest losers and pieces of shit in the history of the US.
Don't use Youtube if you're going to be giving them a cent. Ublock Origin on PC works well enough, Newpipe is good for Android devices. Newpipe has every single feature that I ever had to see a Youtube premium ad for, and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest.
I used to think he was a reasonably intelligent man (I was uninformed, don't judge me toooo harshly). Then he bought Twitter and burned a profitable company to the ground, which, considering how large and widely used it was, is extremely impressive. Since then, he's made himself look like a complete fucking idiot and bigot, over and over again. But, this is who he's always been, it's just that more and more people have realized that he's nothing more than a nepo baby.
We all know that the Bill of Rights was never meant to protect black people, it worked as Madison wanted it to. Also, didn't exist until 1791, didn't apply to the states until McDonald v. Chicago in 2010. Slavery started in the English colonies in 1619. Hope I don't come off as an asshole, I'm genuinely trying to be informative, I do completely agree with you.
People forget that morality, legality, and constitutionality are all different. Andrew Jackson ignored court orders regarding treaties with the Cherokee, nothing bad happened, because the people supported him. Lincoln blockaded the South without congressional approval, that was a good thing, also unconstitutional. He suspended habeas corpus, which was also unconstitutional. ICE is likely not breaking the constitution in many instances. However, that doesn't make their actions the slightest bit less abjorrent and evil. The constitution is a centuries old piece of paper. If anything, the Bill of Rights and some ot the other amendments (namely the 14th) are significantly more valuable.
I mean, let's be honest, some Democrats have supported gun control efforts. Not particularly extreme ones, but slight limits to at least reduce school shootings. They haven't done as much as anybody would like. Before this, I don't remember many Republicans supporting gun control, except for Reagan banning open carry of assault rifles (I believe it was assault rifles, not certain) to discriminate against the Black Panthers.
The roof looks a bit curved and the fins are in different locations, but it might just be a little fucked up. Someone that knows how the model looks would be able to say for sure.
Guess the German and Austrian Jews had it coming, they were just too stupid to see what was obvious. Should've just moved, of course! Why didn't they think of that?
