  • Feb 10th. That's before they announced the delay. It was written before they announced the delay.

  • Well, as I said in another comment below, I didn't start with just blocking them. They don't just do it to me, they do it to anyone who disagrees with their behavior. I've seen them be snarky to others, I've seen them just downvote and not say anything. They do both. I just block them immediately now because they're not worth arguing with - they won't ever change, so why would I bother?

My problem isn't reposts from ML, that's their go-to response but they repost everything from everywhere. My problem is their dozens of accounts. Why can't they just use one account so other users like me can just block them? They're evading people's blocks under the guise of "promoting instances", even though I guarantee the vast majority of users don't even know the post is from cm0002, let alone pay enough attention to read what instance the cm0002 account is on.

  • Wow, I didn't know that. The Rivian has a button that just opens the frunk with hydrolics. Seems like Ford just wanted it to be as close to an ICE vehicle as possible, maybe for manufacturing reasons?

  • Oh yeah, I wasn't looking for a 1:1 replacement for Amazon, my bad. I was just curious if you had any decent ones in general.

  • Asking for evidence of extraordinary claims = trolling. Got it.

"Agentic LLMs" is just a corporate buzzword. It's meaningless, because by the very nature of LLMs, they do not "think". It's simply not possible. Deep learning models, maybe, but not LLMs.

Also, lots of things can mimic brains, and not all "brains" are the same anyway. So what brain are we talking about here?

  • I've left Amazon as well. What are your go-to sites?

  • I mean, sure. But I think you might be underestimating the infrastructure costs. They aren't just using a few 10GB switches. They also aren't just using a single data center to store and deliver games. Then, you have to consider all of the redundancies involved, the contractors, the data center contracts, etc. Even if they don't have their own DCs, AWS or Azure at this level is $$$$$$.

Storing, transferring, and hosting at this scale is not cheap by any means. It makes GameStop's tech infrastructure look like peanuts in comparison.

  • Wait, what the fuck? I mean, I'm not all that surprised that misogyny came out over this, especially these days, but still.

  • Fuck the AIPAC.

  • Mike Lee is so fucking dumb.

  • Does this cover the apps that work with exploit compatibility mode enabled? My banking apps work fine with it on, with it off they don't work.

  • How am I trolling by asking for legitimate evidence to cover your claims?

  • I'm really not trolling, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

  • He certainly has an influence - he's still the chairman of the board. He gets to decide who gets fired and when. In some ways, he found a way to have more influence, while being less hands-on.

  • I hope to never see his dick face again anywhere

  • Why do you keep posting about this everywhere?

  • Since it's not clear in my original comment (that's on me), I didn't just start by blocking them immediately, and it's not something that they have done to just me either. I've seen them be snarky to other people complaining, I've seen them ignore people complaining and just downvoting them instead. They do both.

I honestly don't care about reposts from ML. I try not to go there, and I have many of their communities blocked anyway. They don't just repost from ML, even though that's their classic, go to response. They repost everything from everywhere.

If it was just the reposts, I'd just block them and move on. But they make it so I quite literally can't just move on. I've blocked 11 of their accounts. That's the problem I have.

  • So list a single peer reviewed study that shows a deep learning model with free agency (like a human)? I'm not asking for all of them.

  • Please understand that I know what deep learning models are, and that they aren't LLMs. I don't know how else to say it at this point. Just because they can "learn" does not mean that they're automatically doing it like a human. It doesn't mean that they have agency in the same way either.
