trauma perhaps? I've talked about certain things that have happened to me in the past and people are like "yo wtf," and turns out those aren't normal things to happen. Also I've seen trauma resources describe certain behaviors that I know that I do.
point is, look into local support groups if you can't find therapists
if at all possible, check to see how old the buildings/property is. My dad noticed that my first apartment was from at least the 1960s or 1970s because of how high the light switches were (it was before regulations that required those to be handicap accessable). Also when I started putting furniture in, I put a shelf against one wall near a hallway and the wall was slanting inward, which I wouldn't have noticed if not for the shelf
No, it HAS leftist circlejerks. Lemmy as a whole isn't necessarily a leftist circlejerk, just a platform FOR circlejerks. If you look in the right places you can find plenty of right-leaning circlejerks
I mean, they could still grab you, suckerpunch you, fall on you and weigh you down, fall in front of you and trip you, knock stuff over that'll hurt you, catch fire and spread it elsewhere, hit you with the stuff sticking out of them, in some cases carry stuff to hit you with, spread god knows what germs to other people/places...
I still occasionally say negative and dismissive stuff about myself, like "no one cares for me" or "I really don't matter" etc. At least I'm able to catch myself sometimes, and last time it happened was at a party where it was hard to hear what anyone was saying unless you really focused
but people don't wanna build that. unless there's been more activity on odyssee and glomble than I've been aware of
