We once had baked beans on toast, after the expensive free range chicken we'd bought Christmas Eve day turned out to be rotten. Took one sniff after removing the shrink wrap and hurled it outside into -30 C temperatures on the balcony.
Heck, I'm not even a parent and it stresses me out. I wish there were packs of Happy New
Year cards, because I don't feel like sending cards until Boxing day.
Apparently there is now a trend to repurpose old 80s mountain bikes as gravel bikes. Sounds logical, but many of them had really long top tubes and very slack frame angles. Not sure if that really works well with drop bars. The rear dropout spacing probably wouldn't accommodate modern cassettes without some modifications either, they were designed for 6 cog freewheels.
All I remember about the rollout of mylar banknotes was the way they used to cling together. Some kind of coating must have been added since, because they no longer do that.
One of my relatives fell down the conspiracy rabbit holes during Covid and never returned. He has started posting on social media about how he agrees with RFK Jr's ideas. We're Canadian, so it makes no sense.
Interesting. In the last couple of hours, the description has changed. Now the seller is calling it a Devinci Enigma 4500. Devinci is a Canadian bike company and they had an enigma model about 30 years ago.
What am I going to do with all those extra "U"s I have lying around? Give them to the neighbours? Paint them different colours and nail them to the walls?
How long ago was your surgery? Maybe the scar tissue hasn't settled down yet?
I had the same problem for the opposite reason after my mastectomy and it took quite a while before I could lie on my right side. I still have my left boob (40F) and didn't have a problem with that side.
I suppose it's a bit like diamonds, which are actually really abundant, just not always very accessible.
